I love DG because #1. Passive Exercise -- I can have lots of fun and get some exercise at the same time because I hate going to the GYM/running #2 . Watching a disc fly exactly like you wanted is one of the best feelings #3. Throwing far/controllled + Putting well is tougher than I imagined going into the sport, so I like that there is always room for improvement. Your putts might be hot, but your drives are not, and some days it's the opposite, so it feels like there is always work to be done to bring it all together. It takes a bit of mental discipline and drive to put in the time/work to improve, so I like having to work on my mental game along with the physical part. #4. The people are usually very friendly. I can usually tag along with someone if I'm out there alone no matter what course you're at and also have easy conversation starters chatting about disc golf.

nothing beats chuckin discs. alone or with other people. alone it's about me vs me and the course and the improvements i think i've made. with other people it's great to see them throw whatever is a great shot for them, or to hit a long putt or whatever. if we chatter and bust balls a little great. if we're quiet until something cool happens great. with most of the people i play with we aren't even playing against each other, we're just playing. nothing like it.

My dream is to have a full send, full flight on hole 8. Never has happened, and I usually get knocked down by that same row of trees that you did, often times to the right which is usually a pitch for a guaranteed par, usually 4.

Yea trash is a very sad downside of disc golf! I don't understand how people just throw stuff on the ground!

Honest it's the plastic reminds me of cool yo-yo 🪀 plastic and creepy crawly machine . I love to watch a disc fly and the sound of chains ⛓️ after a huge putt hooks you

Why I love the game? I think what originally was watching the disc fly. I sucked like everyone else my first time but I saw some people bombing in the field and I couldn't believe how far they were throwing. I wanted to do that. Now, I'm not a bomber by any stretch but I can make the disc do what i want most the time 😂 Once I started nailing anny shots it took the game to another level for me.

I've met a few oddballs but I've never felt bad talking to random frisbee golfers. Everyone's got cool advice on how to chuck plastic better, and it's great cheering for putts or gasping when someone almost gets an ace
