The last place I visited before Covid hit the world! I have such happy and fond memories of Nagarhole. I saw 3 tigers (2 extremely close up) and I was so so lucky to see Saya the Black Panther and he mated with a Leopard right in front of us! Saw many elephants and beautiful birds. Nagarahole ❤️ Spread across the district of Mysore (Hunsur, Periyapatna and HD Kote taluks) and Kodagu district (Virajpet Taluk). Nagarahole and Bandipur reserve accounts for nearly 240 tigers out of 524 tigers of Karnataka. Nagarahole reserve probably the most thickly populated elephant corridor which is a part of Mysore Elephant Corridor (MEC). What a beautiful presentation of the reserve. Please we want such more videos on other reserves of Karnataka as well. Videos of Bandipur, Bhadra, Kudremukha, Khali, Sakrebyle, BR Hills, MM Hills, Bhimgad, Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary etc. Karnataka is blessed with rich bio diversity and as the highest number of Elephants and Tigers in India( Now 2nd of course. MP is on the top of the list for tigers since 2018) It is the duty of every person to protect it. I see lot of tourists litter it. We request everyone not to. Karnataka Forest department worked hard in increasing and protecting the green cover. We all have to support them. One request for the people of Kerala. Please support us for the night traffic ban of Bandipur reserve. #Karnataka Wildlife ❤️

I was lucky enough to visit Nagarhole in March 2021- I always do whenever I visit Mysore to see my relatives... its like a routine! I saw Elephants, Malabar squirrel, wild boar, hanuman langur, deer and even a Sloth bear- couldn't see a tiger this time though! Hopeful this nightmare of a pandemic ends and a somewhat normal life is restored- the animals must be enjoying without much human intervention!

I'm a wildlife enthusiast from Kerala. And this place looks just like the Periyar Tiger Reserve in Thekkady, KERALA !! Beautiful shots !! Been to Bandipur and even to VIJAYAPURA ❤️and BADAMI ❤️but never been to Nagarahole eventhough I always wanted to visit the place ! Bhadra tiger reserve is also in my wish list !! Hope I could explore this magnificent place soon !

@@archangelajith. there are lot of special places that I can suggest. But the thing is, in Karnataka only about 40% of the places are accessible. The rest are restricted. Again during monsoon the places which are accessible cannot be accessed. When you visit wildlife reserves, try booking the government forest guest/rest houses. All these forest rest houses are located in a beautiful locations. Unfortunately only very few are accessible today. In case of booking forest rest houses in Nagarahole, try booking 1 month prior visit to the reserve ( best month to visit is around March - May )

@@shashank6128 Since the very first time when I planned a trip to Nagarahole,I found out that March/April is the best time to visit their but unfortunately my plans never worked out. Instead I went somewhere 😀!! Thank you Shashank for the prompt reply 🙏❤️. For me it was just a BANGALORE as far as Karnataka is concerned until I visited Badami and Bijapur right before the pandemic hit. I fell in love with Karnataka 😀❤️❤️❤️ ! visited those places in 2019 December and came back home on 31st DEC !! After 3 months on MARCH 2020 Covid and eventually the lockdown ! Since then Im planning a long trip to Karnataka . Thank you once again 👍

@@archangelajith. then I must say, you still have that big western ghats regions to cover during pre-monsoon. The coastal line of Karnataka and of course not to forget the Mysore plateau of south Karnataka and last but not the least, the rich archeological sites of North Karnataka.
