I'm always on the lookout for interesting new places to visit and searching for new experiences. I was bowled over by this coastal town. It had so much to offer. Join me on this walk to discover how Sheringham differs from your average british seaside resort. Of course it has all of the usual suspects, Ice cream, arcades, fish & chips etc but this place also has something very unique that will allow you the opportunity to experience something very special along with the..wait for it...opportunity to travel back in time.

Hello! My parents live in Sheringham and it's a delightful place to visit (we used to come here on holiday when I was a kid as well). To satisfy your curiosity, that building on the cliff at 18:30ish used to be a public toilet before being converted into a holiday let

Hahahaha. That is the last thing I expected it to be. I think that's brilliant. The owners have truly demonstrated that great things can be achieved if you can visualise them in your head. I'm tempted to stay there so I can see exactly what they've done to the place. This sort of thing interests me. In fact I did it for a living until 2019. Thank you very much for your comment. Kelling Heath! Absolutely love this part of Norfolk! It’s beautiful! & the fact it still has a functioning steam railway line is the cherry on the top! Hoping to take the kids back later in the summer this year! 👌

Thank you so much for your comment. Funnily enough, when I first arrived in the King's Lynn area of Norfolk about 22 years ago, I found myself with some spare time on one particular weekend. Being without a car at tthat time I decided to take a bus ride from Hunstanton. This bus was called "The Coasthopper" and it ran between Hunstanton and Cromer. What a terrific bus journey. Those words don't normally appear in the same sentence, lol. I loved it and still remember to this day the feeling I had as the bus approached the Kelling area. I remember suddenly the trees and bushes forming a beautiful green archway over the road, the cooling of the air because of the shade and also the sudden cleanliness of the air as I breathed in and out. I fell in love with the North Norfolk coast right then and there. Thanks for taking the time to watch my video.

My family & l have had many holidays in this beautiful town the place for all ages great shops restaurants fish & chips and beautiful railway that goes to another town which is very nice 👏👏👏

It really is a place I never get tired of visiting. I don't think it should work on paper, what with all that concrete but somehow...it just does!!! Thanks very much for taking the time to watch the video and for your comment as well. That really helps a tiny channel like mine to get noticed and to grow. I really appreciate it. I'm currently 2 months into a 3 month filming tour in "The French Riviera" but will be back in a few weeks when I will be searching out more of the best villages, towns and coastal resorts in the UK. @@rogerking2933 I am famaliar with where you are. I jave fished under the cliffs nearby. Sheringham is a great place. I reckon whoever you are, there will be something about Sheringham that you like. Im currently finishing a 3 months series on the Cote D'Azur, otherwise known as "The French Riviera'. When I get back I would like to cover some more interesting UK locations, Norfolk Included. Im running out of ideas in that area though so if anybody can think of any really charming, interesting, pretty Norfolk locations that I haven't as yet filmed I welcome any suggestions. Sandringham is indeed very lovely. It is situated on the edge of the village of Dersingham. I was fortunate enough to live in the area for nearly 20 years. It is a very nice part of England. There are lots of woodlands and countryside, its only 15 minutes drive from the coast and 15 minutes the other direction and you are in the town. It's a great location. Being a keen sea fisherman I have had the benefit of getting to know this whole section of coastline, from Dersingham to Great Yarmouth pretty well. I have strayed well off of the beaten path whilst searching out good fishing spots. It's one of the many great things about sea fishing. It takes you to places you would never normally consider going. And it also forces you to set aside modern lifestyle and instead to adopt and understand the natural ways of this world. One has no option but to learn about tides, currents, winds and the food chain. It is a humbling thing. Boating is also a passion of mine. The same things can be said of this pastime.
