After enjoying a few days exploring Chengdu, I decided to head to Xining for a unique journey on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. This remarkable train route, often referred to as the "Heavenly Road" in China, offers a truly magical experience that I can't wait to share with all of you.
The Qinghai-Tibet Railway is the highest railway line globally (built from 1858 to 2006), connecting mainland China and Tibet. Stretching over 960 km frozen earth, with portions exceeding 4,500 meters above sea level and the highest point reaching a staggering 5,072 meters, this railway is the miracle of Human railway construction.
Today, traveling on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway has become an integral part of any visit to Tibet, captivating 70% of tourists who opt for this scenic train journey from mainland China. If you're planning a trip to Tibet, feel free to reach out to me for assistance in arranging this unforgettable train ride or purchasing tickets. Please do contact me at jamyangtour@gmail.com.

About Me - Jamyang
I am Jamyang, and I have been working as a tour guide with Tibet Vista Tour for 15 years. In 2020, during the Covid-19 global pandemic, I lost my job of being a tour guide, with the support of the company, I immersed myself in filming videos and documenting the culture of Tibet. My goal is to share the beautiful landscapes of Tibet, Tibetan culture, and the genuine and enchanting lifestyle of the local Tibetans with people around the world who love and care about my beloved hometown Tibet. If you plan to visit Tibet, be sure to get in touch with me. I can show you the best and most authentic Tibet.

Jamyang, I enjoyed your video very much. Questions (1) What is the total cost for you to take 3 brothers (from Malaysia & Canada) in November 2024 from Xining to Lhasa including (a) Tibet travel permit application. (b) 3 soft sleeper beds, (c) one full day tour of Lhasa? (2) Where to stay in Xining and Lhasa and the cost of hotels (4 stars rated hotels)?

there are many Tibetan restaurants in some parts of Xining city, Xining's Tibetan are mainly Amdo Tibetan .when they stay together it's more like a whole Tibetan community appeared in that place .Tibetan words are everywhere in that part of city ,hospital ,restaurant ,shops ,schools ,street signs ,public toilets ,etc.but only in that Tibetan area, Tibetan words will disappear just next block .not only in Xining ,Amdo Tibetan like to live in a compact community in any Amdo area.1/5 city is Tibetan ,other areas belong to sala ,hui, han, dongxiang ,etc.people in Amdo area like to cut the city into pieces to live .

Bertie8046, Tibet language is always in existence. The Chinese government respects all the minorities languages and religions. There are no biases except the demonising from the paid journalists who propagandised whatever goods the government provided. All the 56 ethnicities are still celebrating their own cultures and traditional beliefs where you could not find elsewhere the governments restrict and stop their cultures and their languages. Dear, this is about the train ride from Xining to Lhasa, not an extensive analysis of the City. He probably did not have the time with the group responsibility. It looked like a multi faceted ethnical diverse City, you can only do justice in an extensive documentary, which was not the aim of this documentary, rather to introduce to the world this beautiful train ride to tourists from around the world, when you have the money to choose a comfortable compartment.
