A correction, it felt uncomfortable for me to hold it because I held it incorrectly. Thanks to Jeremi for pointing that out to me. I tried it again and that’s by miles better now 🙂

It amuses me when people say they aren't a fan of guns. I had many injuries, including concussions playing contact sport as a young man. Yet having taken up target shooting in my later years, I find it the safest sport I could possibly compete in. We all need to stop listening to the news, regurgitate what the government tell them to say, to push their agenda.

Ha god you’re so right. Now I get why it felt so uncomfortable 😅 I’ve done a couple of clay pigeon shootings but that’s about it, but as soon as I remembered it, then it clicked where my left hand went 😅 Thanks to your comment of course, so thanks for that 🙂

We are trained to never hold the magazine of any automatic weapon as in doing so you may cause a misfeed and jam the weapon.

With all that shaking of the gun yeah that makes sense. And of course I didn’t realise at that specific time that I was holding it incorrectly 😅

Really weird to see that the fire-selector is reversed. On a real AK, the safety is all the way up

That’s brilliant, you’re going to enjoy it, but yeah just be very careful when assembling the actual mechanics as they’re easy to be messed up, and sand and wax plenty 😊

I have a question, it does the action even with no ruber bands? i mean ammo ruber bands, y have a wood pistom and if does or doesnt have ammo it does the shot action anyway

Oh that’s very odd. I’m not too sure how that is possible tbh. There must be something that’s keeping the hook locked forwards with tension. I’ve never heard of such an issue on this ak before. Check what’s causing the tension.

It doesn't fire without rubber bands because the bands apply force pushing in into the pistons

Hello everyone! I'm a beginner enthusiast in this type of model-making, and I have a question. The kit came without the corresponding wax. Is it possible to assemble the model without using the wax? Could the model have issues in the future if I don't use it in the mechanism? Do you recommend purchasing wax to use? Thanks in advance, and greetings! ¡Hola a todos! Soy aficionado principiante a este tipo de maquetas y me surge una duda. La caja me ha venido sin la cera correspondiente. ¿Es posible montar la maqueta sin utilizar la cera? ¿La maqueta puede dar problemas si no la uso en el mecanismo de cara a futuro? ¿Me recomendáis que me compre una cera para usarla? The one kid sharing their rubber band gun with the local robber (The robber likes it and steals it) BTW What's the scale? If it's like identical to the real AK-47 by Kalashnikov, then it must just be me.

I made the tommy gun version...and it works sometimes the buffer spring gets all jammed up. Ive opened it up twice already any tips?

That’s brilliant 😃 Have you made sure that the chamber and the whole hook bit has been sanded and waxed well? It possibly sounds like there’s too much friction going on

I've got it to work I replaced the spring. The spring somehow jammed up. I finished the AK47 tonight and man...the quality for the mechanism surpasses the tommy gun.

Mine can't do burst or can't shoot sometimes

Hey, it could possibly lead to the piece that moves up and down when trigger is pulled or released, the piece that’s just above the trigger. It could be just assembled incorrectly or there’s too much friction, hence just needs some waxing. As for the burst fire, there’s a 90 degree piece just behind the fire selector inside the gun that could be assembled or installed incorrectly.
