It amuses me when people say they aren't a fan of guns. I had many injuries, including concussions playing contact sport as a young man. Yet having taken up target shooting in my later years, I find it the safest sport I could possibly compete in. We are trained to never hold the magazine of any automatic weapon as in doing so you may cause a misfeed and jam the weapon.

I built this one and the Tommy gun and the tolerances and quality of these models is actually very impressive. I haven't had any problems with either they both shoot perfectly.

I have the ak47 model but when it shoots it often get stuck sometimes the buffer hook cant grab the rubberband

Hey, is it just the rubber bands that get stuck on the buffer hook? Is everything else working fine? If that’s the case, I wonder if the buffer hook bends forwards enough to release the rubber bands when you fire.

Hey, I actually did yeah 😃 I painted it golden, apart from all the brown parts, I painted those in a nicer brown and it looks really cool, I’ve got a video about that as well. That’s brilliant, I hope you enjoy the build and it works on the first go 🤞 And yeah you should paint it, it looks so much better that way.

Just got one and built it today. For some reason my chuck won’t work right and only lets me load two on it and one on the buffer. 😢

Hey Jason, that’s not so good. What I could recommend is having a look at my AK troubleshooting video that’s on my channel and hopefully something from that will fix it 🤞 If not, I’ll do my best to try and figure out what’s going on 🙂

@ hey thanks for your video! We were able to take it apart some and fix the mechanism. We had the same exact problem shown in your video. Now we have full auto! Also, Amazon just delivered the Tommy Gun so working on that one now.

That’s brilliant, you’re going to enjoy it, but yeah just be very careful when assembling the actual mechanics as they’re easy to be messed up, and sand and wax plenty 😊

I have a question, it does the action even with no ruber bands? i mean ammo ruber bands, y have a wood pistom and if does or doesnt have ammo it does the shot action anyway

Oh that’s very odd. I’m not too sure how that is possible tbh. There must be something that’s keeping the hook locked forwards with tension. I’ve never heard of such an issue on this ak before. Check what’s causing the tension.

It doesn't fire without rubber bands because the bands apply force pushing in into the pistons

Hey, it could possibly lead to the piece that moves up and down when trigger is pulled or released, the piece that’s just above the trigger. It could be just assembled incorrectly or there’s too much friction, hence just needs some waxing. As for the burst fire, there’s a 90 degree piece just behind the fire selector inside the gun that could be assembled or installed incorrectly.

I made the tommy gun version...and it works sometimes the buffer spring gets all jammed up. Ive opened it up twice already any tips?

That’s brilliant 😃 Have you made sure that the chamber and the whole hook bit has been sanded and waxed well? It possibly sounds like there’s too much friction going on

I've got it to work I replaced the spring. The spring somehow jammed up. I finished the AK47 tonight and man...the quality for the mechanism surpasses the tommy gun.
