There's a reason why every anime produced before the 2010's it's said it's from The Golden Era.

@@Trippze God, I hate people who think this way. We get it, you don't understand how the industry works. The reason why animation in general is no longer hand drawn, is thanks to the Industry and their quota meetings. Anime, as all things in this world, have a dedline which must be met. And, in this fast paced world, dedlines are way shorter than in The Golden Era. While anime done The Golden Era way is top tier, it took quite a while to make. That's why, as soon as it was accessible, CG was adopted. That's why you're now seeing new seasons being confirmed as soon as the current one ends. That wasn't even a dream back then. The only way to see this type of animation is through full length works and by sheer miracle, as the animation team has to be very talented to pull it off. And don't go around saying anime nowadays is garbage just because it's no longer done The Golden Era way. That's how you tell me you no longer watch anime, without telling me you no longer watch anime.

Yeh man. 😢Things like this and the original Pokémon hype of 1999/00 will never happen again sadly. With technology at hand always there's no memories for kids of today when they older looking back on running home from school to catch your favourite show or the start of the Toonami block, or running back from the toilet during advert/commercial breaks, the joy of hunting for VHS, dvds, cards & toys etc in your town on the weekends (just buy online now) and a plethora of shows and anime out there to watch via streaming means less likely to be obsessed about a new or old show because u can choose almost anything. Kids just seem to watch KZbinrs mostly now act stupid... not great memories to look back on there etc Whereas before we all had limited kids channels to focus on, and have a desperation to watch the shows when we could. The adverts were so good!

90s/2000s Toonami felt like a special experience. There was nothing else like it on TV. Now, every network wants to have Adult Swim-ish adult animation content, and every streaming platform is offering anime/action cartoons. The only thing that compared to Toonami/Adult Swim was old school MTV. Now MTV is a total joke...

I used to take these segments to heart as a kid and as I grew up I held on to them to give me strength threw my hard times. seeing these again as the man I became I am glad to say I did not let myself down. thank you so very much for bringing these back out for all of us to enjoy and cheers to the years yet to come!

Why do all of these remastered promos have the Dragon Ball footage as looking so, so terrible? Like, it's not a widespread issue. Both the CG stuff and the other shows look fine, but the DBZ clips all look like VHS tape left out in the sun for 4 months.
