What a wonderful place to go if you are unable to have your own pet. The best part for me was seeing that the cats are well looked after, well fed and groomed. I too, am a "dog person" but I like cats too. We have 3 dogs but they are easier to control than cats. We live on a busy road and some of our cats were killed by cars so we stopped having them. It wasn't fair to them. I liked that there were many options for people at this cafe - to read or work or just relax with the cats. Awesome video, thank you so much for sharing. 😀

Since you asked, cats curl the tip of their tongue back to form a (very small) cup. They don't get a lot of water per lick, so it takes longer to drink enough. I've seen videos, but that was before internet, not sure if it's still around.

Oh man I want to pet all the lovely Kitty's~ My heart melted at the little one with flipped back ear's, and that Siamese They really are such beautiful but temperamental cat's. It's so lovely to see a place like that.. And it's understandable why they aren't allowed in most apartment's, they can be destructive little thing's. cats are amazing, owning 3 indoor and an outdoor cat its amazing to see how different they are, cats can be just as loyal as dogs and some have been known to go great lengths to find their owners. Tbh more places like those need to exist to help shelters

I love cats. I've had them all my life. These are all adorable. That little Scottish Fold kitty is so cute with its folded ears! A very satisfying time...but I'd need earplugs to stay for long. Great video, thanks for making it! If a cat doesn't know you, you might have more success patting them if you come from the side and gently rub their cheeks. Some cats see an unfamiliar hand over the top of their head as a threat. 😁❤️

You can see that you really, really like cats now. 😊 Just a small advice when you try to pet their heads? Don't do it from so high above and with your whole arm extended. It's threatening to them. You can see how they all shied and ducked away when they saw your hand. Other than that, you're good. 😉

Awww... That was so cute. I'm a sucker for feeding animals too, Are the cats able to be adopted? We have animal cafes but they're mostly to promote adoption. If you don't want to take an animal home, you can adopt it, somewhat, by paying a monthly fee for it like $10 for it's care and feed.

That’s a good observation! While the Japanese Bobtail is famous, not all cats in Japan have short tails. You’ll still find many with long tails like in other countries.

They all look like pedigreed cats, like you would see in a cat show. A pedigreed Siamese wouldn't have a short tail. A pedigreed Persian wouldn't have a short tail. And so on.
