Is my life's dream to one day go to Japan, and, if it's possible, see all seasons of the year there 🥰 thank you, for showing different places and also, I would like to see where locals go. @@Kistune_Fox2012 Foxes are not pets, they are not domesticated or tame. They poop and pee everywhere because you can't train them to go outside to poop. Also, they are nocturnal, so they are awake during night and sleep during day. Just because thet are cute, does not mean you can use one because you want one. The reason you can't adopt one, is because they are simply not for humans as pets.

I also went to this village and it was horrific experience. I felt so bad for foxes. Their living standards were awful, they were in bad condition - hurt, sad, bitten everywhere. i also was shocked how japanese treated them - they were throwing snacks between foxes on purposes so they will fight each other for it - just normal couple thing while saying' kawaii'. as a fox fan i hope people will see truth about this village instead of promoting it...
@MelonLordHefe Жыл бұрын
I haven't been there but this is what I thought watching this. The foxes do not look particularly healthy or "happy". It seems like there are way to many foxes in such a small area. A free fox in the city has a territory of 20 to 40 hectare, in the wild up to several hundreds or even a thousand hectare. Very sad to see that these foxes are kept captivated just for the entertainment of human beings. :( Nothing kawaii about that.

I did hear something about new management/someone who bought part of the rights and that they are changing things. Like forbidding everyday feeding etc and removing the cages. I also understood that the 'fox shrine' was no longer official because the people sanctifying the shrine refused to because of the state of the foxes making the shrine a tourist attraction instead of what it once was. I hope it's true and that once again it becomes a safe haven for harmed/hurt foxes instead of a breeding spot.

On the surface, this looks really cute and like a good thing for the foxes overall, but I have also seen plenty to show otherwise. In fact, this place has been known for animal cruelty and for the animals fighting over water and food. I hope things have improved, but foxes are not known to be pack animals so putting them all in here like this is honestly not the best thing for them. I have faith that bad reports coming from this location have pushed for changes, but I personally wouldn't go there.
@jlawsl Жыл бұрын
I agree. Japanese zoos are pretty terrible places. They are meant for the "cuteness" of the animals or to display them instead of attempting to create a natural habitat or rehibiliation area for future release. There are also tons of clubs or shops that receive illegally purchased animals that are taken from smugglers in other countries. They keep threatened, endangered or vulnerable species as pets as status symbols or just for "cuteness". For example, they illegally import river otters from SE Asia. The price of the otters is such that the hunters look for mothers that have pups and kill the mother in order to take the pups. They are then sold on the black market and imported to Japan where they are kept as meme pets. There are plenty of KZbin channels that show this. They also love to gather large groups of single species like these foxes together in order to make tourist attractions. No thought is put into the natural habitat, behaviors of the animals or care of the animals. They are simply there for the tourist to view. The animals are completely reliant on humans and don't know how to survive in the wild. Like the above post said, they are commonly neglected and put in inhumane cages when not on display.

Была там, лисички восхитительные, очень красивые и любители съесть чужие шнурки. Я даже подержала на ручках за доплату. Но им маловато места, поэтому они очень много метят и дерутся, но зато они там в безопасности ❤💕 всем любви

The foxes in small cages made me sad...at least in the wild the females can run away from males they don't fancy. They looked stressed. 😢

Totally unexpected surprise. I believe more and more that Japan is the most suitable country for me. All my love!

You should always consider: Japan still has death penalty, little animal wellfare, a big problem with racism, hard working structures.

@@s.r.823 Careful! I did not refer to Japan as perfect, because there are no nations with perfect people, but only with many qualities, possibly. I appreciated that there are many elements that are convenient for me. As for the misfortunes listed by you, it is a subject that you ask me to develop. For me, the death penalty is debatable, I have several opinions and regarding euthanasia, I do not agree with the legalized hunting of the beautiful necessary whales... But I appreciate the Japanese people for the amazing change from the mentality associated with WWII, including kamikaze… So...

@@micmic6699 Why careful? These are facts. Rasicsm is a big problem over there. Even half-Japanese are hardly accepted in the society. Not to speak about foreigners. And the mental issues are also quite a big thing. And even the pressure of the working pressure are absolutely common. I just said you should consider that. I didn´t say that you should never cosider Japan as very suitable for yourself. But for me these problems will always prevent me from even going there on holiday. But I know a lot of people who moved there. It was their choice and I did not interfered with it. I just want people to think about these issues. Because a lot of people romanticise the view of Japan with all its cuteness. And then they never see the bad sides.

@@s.r.823 I understand your good intentions in relation to me personally, but my initial statements were the result of spot-on perceptions from KZbin videos, as well as a positive message. I am not naive and I have my own theories regarding the current state of humanity, the market economy, the precepts of democracy, which must be reconsidered, in my opinion, and many of my predictions, to varying degrees, have come true. Unfortunately, the many disappointments have brought me to a dramatic situation and I can no longer find my place...

Foxes really are cat software on dog hardware 😻 but I can't help to think that's too many for such a small place.

Not so small, actually. Except for the open space, there are a fox hospital, where injured and sick foxes can rest and be treated. And the space for baby foxes where they stay until they can get along among grown up ones.
