this was very helpful! I just got my set and first used them about a week ago, have been using the big main washer alot and wiping it out and was aware of the place to drain water out but when wiping out the little pedestal washer, I could hear water sloshing in it and didn't know where to drain it out. Will now know where to look as well as how to use the tub clean feature - thanks!! I am absolutely in love with these machines:-)

I had a ub error code unbalanced and I had a UE error code my washer was unable to balance the load on its own.

My kickstand won’t turn on, I have checked the circuit breaker and it isn’t tripped, my main washer is on the same outlet and turns on. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

My sidekick has NEVER worked properly. We get constant DE3 error codes if we try to use it. We had the washer serviced when the problem happened early on, and the repairman couldn’t fix it. He replaced the lid, and it only worked for about 2 weeks. It is an overpriced pedestal now. I’ve loved my LG washer and dryers for years, but this was a FAILED product. Very disappointed

I have the dE2 error code . However , I cannot open the drawer once I turn off the machine . What should I do ?

Unplug the machine and wait 3 to 5 minutes. The drawer should unlock.

d32 error code all of a sudden. Powered off at circuit breaker and still starts to run, makes noise for 3 spins, then d32 - tried powering off and restarting 5 times but no idea.

On your pedestal ThinQ, and the lid is not latched, how come it still displays "dE1"?

This could be caused by various factors, such as a malfunction in the door sensor or latch mechanism. So if a dE1 error code appears in your display after several seconds from starting your wash cycle, simply close the drawer. The washer will then lock and begin its cycle. You technically could. Aesthetically it wont look so great but you could. You just have to get by the sensor that is pushed down by the main washing machine, and have a hook up for the water and the drain hose like you normally would have for a regular size washing machine. LG doesn't recommend it, but I just set one up by itself and it works fine.

@@LeeMulcahyForSenate STICK SOMETHING ON IT THE PLACE WHERE THE LG WASHER SHOULD SIT ON IT, LIKE SHOWN AT THE END OF THE VIDEO. SOMETHING SOFT LIKE A FOAM PIECE WILL DO IT BUT MAKE SURE IT STAYS DEPRESSED. i GOT MY LG SIDEKICK WORKING AND STACKED WITH MY SAMSUNG WASHER. OF COURSE LG DOES NOT RECOMENT NOR APPROVE THIS AS THEY WANT YOU TO BUY THEIR FULL SIZE WASHER/DRYER.

The Sidekick CAN be used by itself and CAN be installed under a dryer. If you can install a full washer under a dryer why can’t you install the Sidekick under a dryer?
