I havent smiled so big at an Overwatch video in such a long time. Seeing old creators that played and new creators that play just coming together and having some fun, no hard metas, strats, just a bunch of silliness and banter before it became super toxic. Tim was the first streamer i watched and now im glad I kept watching through Flats. This is the Joy everyone was missing and if they can home in on this more the game can be even more than what it is in its current state

Every thing feels much slower in a good way and as a Tank main I can't tell you how much I love the fact that I don't have to worry about half a dozen cheeky hyper mobility characters always getting around me. Everything for the most part stays in front of me and it feels great knowing that I don't have enemy dps living in my back line rent free. When you push people off high ground it means something now as most can not get instantly back up to it. Having a dps or tank heavy comps can be tough to fight, but the fact there is universal self healing passive and a limited amount of heros who can even self heal make it easy to chip away at all that health to eventually make space.

Do you mean like physically pushing them off? I always thought pushing them off meant putting out enough threat that if they do try to be there, they'll just die

@@emilydegroot6436 That is what it means, if you go and make a threat and force players off high ground, atm in ow2 live mode when you move on to try to play objective, the enemy team just pops right back onto high ground again because of abilities that give them high mobility. It makes it difficult to force the enemy team to get off high ground and force them to play on the objective if they can retake it with a button click.

Real, ever since the Ow2 beta I felt it was too fast I used to play a lot of Widow in ow1, I still love her but I often have to switch due to all the hypermobile flankers being so stressful to deal with You hit a couple shots and suddenly it's a survival game haha, sometimes I just want to chill and duel other precision chars in qp yknow Classic has been nice

I'd say do it. Don't miss your chance. I dropped overwatch 2 because it became lame and textureless, and this is part of what I missed. What's more is if the devs see it's bringing more people into the game now, it could affect decisions they do to the live game too for the better.

@@xEvilRaptorx I think it's more because stuff actually dies. The TTK is so much slower in current Overwatch. There was a while there where it was a tolerable speed, but it went back down again.

@snipingway I don't think it's the time to kill so much as it's the burst healing and how tanky everything is now like soo many abilities give damage reduction in live don't here and so many strong abilities have alot more risk reward and there there just some absurdly strong things on 90% of the heros and stuff doesn't just get healed up out of no where

@snipingway yes and no if the team let's say supports die or don't have the burst healing supports its honestly a faster time to kill now I mean look at how fast tanks can explode if a support doesn't look at them for a second it's odd to talk about cause in some cases like VS bap or kiri time to kills is much much longer but some characters in the game now have absurd time to kill think the conversion being abit odd is just the nature of the game have 40+ heros there's gonna be situations and outliners on both ends of the spectrum

OW1 did all the optimization before OW2. OW Classic is patch 1 which is NOT the same as like say 2018-2019 overwatch

Hi flats! The reason Reaper's TP seemed to not work is because you can't use it while falling/airborne until like s28! You jumped a few times and were frazzled, hope that helps!

The amount of nostalgia that i felt watching this was superb. Flats is right with that the good feels was mainly due to everyone being in team chat and having fun. Once you go solo its a different story, but man is he right about the games pacing just making sense. This is the Overwatch i remember that got me hooked from the start!

Just like old times! I've been watching this OW classic contents (including this one) and it makes me miss how fun OW was in a goofy way before it got seriously competitive. as an ow2 player ive been really enjoying this mode, some characters feel so different but so fun. honestly they should keep sym like that, i really like the teleporter ult. i usually play mercy and omg it feels so weird not being able to sj and slingshot. the fact that superjump was a bug too is crazy.
