Omg. My first "episode" of chostrondtris happened when 27. It literally came out of no where as I was winding down for bed. I was living alone and freaked out. I called an ambulance but by the time they got there the pain had subsided. I learned what the condition was. Thankfully I don't experience episodes regularly but I know I have to lie down, listen to meditation music, and let it pass. Normal breathing versus deep breaths. So glad I found this video.

This does need to be discussed at the first meeting. So does nerve pain. I'm 60, was diagnosed just 2 yrs ago, and didn't know any of this. I also was in panic mode when I found out. I started remembering times when (at various times in my life) something weird would happen with my health and no one seemed to have any answers. I'm sorry you have this disease, but am glad you at least have somewhat of an idea of what is causing your problems. I was told I was just overthinking, overdramatizing, seeking attention, lazy, etc. whenever I tried to talk about what I was experiencing. No one believed me. I hope and pray you don't experience that. ❤️❤️

I'm 27 and I currently got diagnosed with this and I've had it for about a month now and it subside while I was taking my meds then just earlier today it's been acting up my chest in the cent feels tight and heavy but I'm not in pain...just slight discomfort. But yea when I first dealt with it it was messing with my anxiety very bad ...but now it doesn't I think it gets triggered do to excessive movement or lifting but yea it's crazy just from one faulty lifting gave me this minor condition I'm gonna probably live with

Wow... Thank you for making this video. This has happened to me several times throughout life and has happened a couple times recently and I was going to tell my rheumatologist about it but wasn't sure what it was. Definitely worried I was having mini heart attacks. Lol. Glad that's not it! I'll still talk to my rheumatologist about it but at least I won't be so scared now. Thank you for spreading the word!

Of course!!!! It is absolutely insane that costochondritis isn't talked about during our first appointments. Yes, do not be scared now. (i don't remember if I mentioned it in the video), but my Rheumy just has me take Naproxen, so i would assume yours will give the same verdict, but pleaseeee let me know if they tell you something different!

I went to the ER because I thought I was having a heart attack. The burning sensation on the front and back of my upper chest area and my upper left arm was UNBEARABLE. My heart was literally aching... felt like something was squeezing it. The American Heart Association says to dial 911 when experiencing chest pain. So I did. EMT arrived. IV was started, nitroglycerin was placed under my tongue, and EKG was taken. After hours in the emergency room, all cardiac workup came back negative. I was told I have costochondritis, offered ibuprofen (which I refused because its almost $300 in the ER). When I got home I took 600mg of ibuprofen and it worked. Afterwards, I went to KZbin and google to learn all I can about this new diagnosis. Thank you for this info.

Oh my goodness. Randi! I think this is what I’ve been experiencing for all these years!! For years, I’ve been having really bad chest pains especially after basketball and sometimes it’ll trigger when I’m laying down. It was also start hurting when I breathe regularly, so I’d have to take shorter breaths which would then led to me hyperventilating. I’d first get the pain in my back and it’ll travel to my chest. We visited multiple cardiologist and everyone would have a different diagnosis. Till this day we don’t know what it is or what causes it but I think you just cracked the code for me!!!!

Side bar, when the ER doctor told me I have costochondritis, I thought of my mom. She has been having this identical chest pain for many years. She's been diagnosed as a hypochondriac, depressed, seeking attention, but never with what she probably has and that's COSTOCHONDRITIS. Thankyou for this info.

Complication of Ignored Atlas Dislocations. Neck Injuries Flare when Agitated. It happens in the Back, too. A Seizure Complication. I'm Unlocked and Seized out. Chest Pain was just one of the Complications I've dealt with. I have a Disrupted Breathing Pattern when Seizure Active. Since, I'm Un growing the Irregular Growth associated to being left Severely Dislocated for Decades. The Chest Realignment (Thoracic Undistorting) hurts, too. You have to Unlock It Yourself. Since Chiro's don't know how and the System Ignores It. Labels and Treats the Complications with Pharmaceuticals. I'll write it a different way. Chiro's leach off an Ignorant System. Get an Air Brace and Chin Tuck for Your Life. Or, just Ignore the Knowledge and keep Kyphosing into more Labeled Complications. They add up as your Kyphosis worsens with Age.

Ungrowth of Sternum Distortion begins after Atlas Unlock. Having an Ignored Atlas Dislocation Stunts, Distorts and Brings Irregular Growth. Can you elaborate more on the air brace and chin tuck?
@christopherwatson283
@christopherwatson283 3 ай бұрын
@@theyouthfulstoic Use a pump up air brace for traction and chin tuck for your life. Through the nose bleeds. Till you unlock it. Very painful and not hardware friendly or older adult age friendly. Unlock it and seize out of the seizures. You will start Un growing the Kyphosis. Very Painful. As you detoxify from the dislocation things will start coming back online. Nerve healing and re-establishing the missing temple pulse. Whole body realignment. No help from the current ignorance which is not helping anyone relocate and labeling the Complications.

@@christopherwatson283 Thanks for the information, I'll certainly read into this. Was there a specific air brace you bought? Also, how long did this take you to fix the Kyphosis?
@christopherwatson283
@christopherwatson283 3 ай бұрын
@@theyouthfulstoic 3 Pillow pump up air brace. That would be age dependent. I'm 62 and It's taken me over 2 yrs. to get to where I'm at. Early Youth is the best time to Unlock It and keep it unlocked. Most people are dislocated in youth. Distorted growth begins at time of Dislocation. You have to pull the Kyphosis out. The neck is supposed to be straight. Seizures will rip the hardware out when realignment occurs. The more distorted growth and length of dislocation slowly humps you over if the other complications don't kill you first. Seizures are an Immune System Response. Primarily to Atlas Dislocations and Relocations. The only way I know of the get out of the Seizures is to Un Hang the Atlas. Works for Dogs, too. If It's Auto Immune. It's Seizure Driven. Mental Illness Labels like Anxiety, Depression etc. are some descriptors of some of the labeled complications. It's a Label City for the Complications of Ignored Atlas Dislocations. Very few have not been knocked cross eyed. I Un-cross eyed Myself. Not an easy thing to do at my age. That took a couple of years of hard traction and chin tucking to get it stretched enough to unlock it. Very Painful and Very Scary. Like having a Baby without any knowledge about baby's. With a Lost System that Ignores the Baby(Neck Dislocation). God Bless, C.>Neck Injury Negligence

Anyone got the answer to fix this? Iv had it 8 years now and it's ruining my life
@lussiluz4921
@lussiluz4921 2 жыл бұрын
I had it for the last 3 years on and off after experiencing it for the first time 13 years ago. What I noticed is that it flares up like hell when I eat inflammatory foods. I noticed a clear link between diet and flares up. From burning sensation to a knife cutting through my bones, feeling like I have stones under my chest, not being able to breathe and excruciating pain, obviously going from doctor to doctor with no answers, I got into fasting, juicing and raw foods, high on fruits. Fried food, all grains, beans, high protein diet, all are inflammatory foods. Got rid of them for a while and all the pain went away. For the first time in my life I experienced periods of time pain free and just couldn't believe pain free life is possible. It's pure bliss. Each time I have a flare up, I get back eating natural food which we were designed to, not industrial modern junk. We are addicted to bad inflammatory foods, getting through addiction is not easy, but it's worth it all the way. I still eat junk from time to time and I feel it right away. But I always get back eating less(fasting) and juicing (vegetable juices) plus simple salads (no oils, no salt) and fruits and life is so worth it and beautiful pain free!! There is no profit to be made from fasting, breaking the food addictions and from natural foods. Alkaline diet is in the natural foods. Everything else is on the acid side of chemistry. Acid foods is what is burning us and we feel it as inflammation. Dr Robert Morse, Dr. Sebi, Arnold Erhet just a few names explaining all these way batter. Health is wealth, knowledge is power. Wish everybody get to experience a blissful pain free life!! 95% of the so called "doctors" have no clue of how the body actually works, they are all pharma cartel rep. They have a numbing candy for symptoms, but taking the pills over and over again is not treating anything is just hiding things under the carpet. Learned that myself. We are our own healers, it's just the knowledge was hidden from us and suppressed. Try natural foods, at least for a while as an experiment ditch the unnatural, acid junk "food" , inflammatory foods and you shall see dis-ease will go away. We did not come here to suffer. But unfortunately for profit the food system has been corrupted so much to the extent that everybody has some sort of dis-ease. Hope this helps!
