You can see bigger Nebuta statuses in Aomori where the festival is held at night and statues are lighting. It is so powerful. My memory of 12 years old though😁

By the way, the largest Nebuta is 9 meters wide, 7 meters deep, and 5 meters high, including the cart. It weighs 4 tons including the cart‼︎
The etymology of ``Nebuta'' is an event called ``Nemuri Nagashi'' to ward off sleepiness. In the Kansai dialect, the meaning of "neburu" is different from "lick".

京都のお祭りも有名ですね。 ハロウィンがそろそろ始まります。渋谷は乱痴気騒ぎになると思います。

Nebuta would be the greatest festival in Japan. I'm wishing to see it in Aomori but the hotels during the days are hard to book. You should've danced rather leaped with shouting "Rasserah! Rasserah!". The reason why I think it the greatest is there's no complicated choreography to memorize and audiences can join easily. It would be ideal form as festival.

I attended Cheese Rolling at Cooper's Hill when I was in England. It's a dangerous festival with a lot of injuries. I enjoyed the beer in the pub after the festival.
