I’m very happy to hear that you don’t want to leave Japan at all. I have a new appreciation for the four seasons in Japan. I hope you will continue to enjoy Japan a lot^^.
I also like rain and rainy season because I have flowers and trees in the backyard and have to water them, and the rainy season in Japan usually begins in June and is not so hot as the height of summer. We can gradually prepare for the heating season and sometimes feel relieved when we receive the blessing of shower during scorching days.
The weather in Niigata is similar to that in the UK. The weather in Niigata and Tokyo is very different. The Nobel Prize for Literature "Snow Country" includes the following famous sentence:The train came out of the long tunnel into the snow country.

The rainy season is humid, which I don’t like because of the mold season. However it’s necessary for farmers’ rice growing as far as the sunshine is enough. Meanwhile, the long rainy season will cause damage to the rice growing due to the lack of the sunshine. Anyway, the delicious rice wii be produced from the enough volume of water and the sunshine. So, the rainy season is the present from the god not only for the rice growing but also for other vegetables.

Nagano prefecture is a perfect weekend getawary from busy Tokyo. You get to enjoy mountain becoming yellow, orange and red, and also enjoy Soba, Japanese noodle. I hope you are not alergic to Soba. Nagano is also famous for Apple, so from fall to winter, you want to give a try. If you like Skiing and Skating, Nagano is a perfect place to enjoy the winter sports.

I would love to visit Nagano! Thank you for your comment ☺️✨
Japan has a lot of element climate and culture on each different district. Accent is as well that, people who lived in Aomori can't talk with Kagoshima people. Nowadays Japanese had made common Japan's people make easy to contact conversations. I hope you have nice experience life on your Japanese life.
It's good to see again British sister God bless you and bless your family 😉🇬🇧

You sharply pointed out the differences between Japan and the UK from a cultural perspective. I've never been to Europe, but the first place I want to visit is the UK. I love the adventurous spirit and courage that conquered the seven seas of the British, and the pursuit of the truth that laid the foundation for the development of science that led to the Industrial Revolution. Well, they touched the weather climate of Japan, but not winter. In fact, the weather in Japan is extreme in the east and west, with sunny weather in the east and snowy in the west Japan about half of the archipelago covered with snow, and two of the world's three heaviest snowfall areas are occupied by Japan.

The snow in Japan feels much softer than snow anywhere else☃️ Thank you for your comment ☺️✨
I was aware that ‘ The Uk has got a lot of things which Japan must learn. ’ while I was living in the UK. Japan has been learned a lot of things by the UK since 1868.

I highly recommend visiting Miyajima, Shirakawago and Nikko! They are all beautiful places and 3 of my favourites that I've visited in Japan!! Another wonderful destination is Koyasan (close to where my Father's family is from). Excellent video! Thanks so much!! 😊

You have been in Japan for 3 years, haven't you ? I lived in Cambridge for 2 and a half years. While I was living there, I got to know a lot of British people who were kind and friendly to me and they cooperated with my English study, so I always appreciate them.
Kyoto is recommended, but I think I've been there, so I recommend Kamikochi in Nagano Prefecture and Hatenohama in Okinawa Prefecture. It is a beauty that will steal your heart.
I watched the video. I see that the UK is experiencing very high inflation at the moment. For example, I know you have central heating in the UK, but when you spent the winter in Japan, didn't you feel cold with partial heating? How did you feel when you compared the cost of living in England with the cost of living in Japan? How did you feel about the quality of clothing when you saw many Japanese stores? Many Japanese apparel products are now made in China. Due to the depreciation of the yen, some Japanese companies are switching to domestic production in Japan. There is little information on the environmental, energy, and economic issues surrounding Europe and the UK from a national perspective. By all means, please share with us what can be applied in the UK in comparison to Japan, as well as any wisdom on life in the UK.
As for food, I am so sure that anything tastes better than Pommy food (animal innards and deep fried things) in Japan or anywhere else, for that matter. I just hope that you have learned so many things that are considered "polite and civilized" in many "civilized" countries, not just Japan, during your sojourn there.
Skye, you have sense of feeling art in daily Japanese life. That must be a defferent point from other general foreigners. So I think you get interested more and more deeply in Japan and it would take a long time to get bored😁(It's joke about "bored")
As Japan islets are on the clash point of earth plate, there are merits and demerits. Though I think you know, there often occur quakes but each area has Onsen and young and steep scenery. If you got to like Onsen, travelling around Japan would become more pleasure. One thing you should be careful is stronger sun beam than in UK which cause skin cancer for whites' skin.
