Space Marine 2 still hasn't been released so here we are again in this ancient military sandbox game forcing it to be a Warhammer 40k title! Also put quite a bit of effort into balancing the audio for this video so hopefully it’s not too harsh, my ears were ringing from the sound of bolter fire trying to fix it. Also thanks for stopping by!

The moment when Jay and the others realise that the enemy has no heavy weapons and charges into glorious melee is an actual textbook situation why melee exists in 40k. Well, for Ignis getting a slot can be the hardest part, for some reason they’re a little popular ;-) But honestly, for the group I play with - which has Ignis members in it - I would say that it’s really easy, it was for me and I was a total Arma noob, then a returning Arma n00b with a three-four year gap of not having played. We also get quite a few people from our members who stream on Twitch, and they stick around - so I’d call that successful :) It does depend a bit on you putting yourself forward for some of the roles - but most groups operate some sort of sign up system that is fair, and they only lock a few roles (like pilot) to people having shown some proficiency. The same is true for squad/platoon/command roles - because someone without experience freezing (which we’ve all done) can ruin a lot of peoples games, particularly for the more ‘serious’ missions (I dislike that term, but realistic doesn’t work either). Honestly, I watched Bluedrake42’s BF2 hyper-modded (at least I think it was) massive realistic games and was totally intimidated about joining as there seemed to be so much to learn, and there *is* a learning curve and you will make mistakes, particularly in Arma, but a good group will forgive and laugh it off.

This has me so fascinated in the idea of an Arma WARHAMMER 40K RP server where your garrison has just the one town and it's a Cadia situation, you are the front, but the attacks are spaced out by weeks at most so you get time to repair things, gather resources, and actually build a defense.

Seeing Jay being a Space Marine for once is neat. Not used to seeing him able to go through an op without being terrified 90% of the time. Though when enemy Space Marines and Knights show up it's back to the norm of dying, hoping you don't die, or running/hiding in fear.

Another CRAZY 40k Arma mission from you, these are fucking joy to watch. I would love to join one time, it's been a long time since i've played any Arma.

God, I wish the Bolter in Darktide and the upcoming Space Marine games sounded this good, honestly. THIS sound effect really does sound like a weapon that roars when fired

If there is a Q&A in the end of the year video I have a few questions 1. Who in your opinion is the most chaotic member of Ignis 2. Do you plan on doing more Vietnam Arma vides 3. Is there any Arma groups you and Ignis wish to collab with besides Rimmy's Cadian XX 4. Bit personal but what is your favorite music genre and favorite artist

question for the Q and A do you have a favourite faction to play as? (halo, war hammer, SCP, Vietnam, etc) and if so what is one op that you enjoyed the most?

I love how Ignis perfectly encapsulates what it means to be a guardsman in the 40k universe. You have often no place on the battlefield, and the only thing you can do to make a difference is have balls of steel and pray you last long enough to meet a main character.

The ship exiting the warp is so cool. This is unironically one of the best WH40K games out there lol.

Oh man, that was satisfying to watch! I was half expecting for the Bosnian Knight to show up, but I figure he’s off doing the Emperor’s work elsewhere in the campaign.

Using that Ryza Pattern Lascannon to just dome the man next to you with ZERO hesitation at the mission clear was just perfection. No words just fucking DEAD.
