A friend of our when she was small ,had a cow she raised from a calf. Bottle fed it,loved it took great care of it. She was in 4 h and had entered it in a local fair. Well part of being in the fair, the owners had to leave the animals in the class at the fair overnight Her parents said no way ! People were awful to the animals as they came through.. - tormenting them - feeding them junk like fair food. Never again.

I can't believe how many people just come up and grab hold of the reins what is wrong with people that was totally crazy you don't go up to somebody else's horse King's guard horse or not and grab the reins if I was on my horse and somebody came over there and grab the reins I'd kick s*** out of them. You wouldn’t try to grab the collar or leash of a guard dog. So why would you think it is appropriate to grab the bridal or reins of a guard horse? They intentionally raised to not be ultra friendly with people that aren’t handling them. Plus there are big black signs posted that say beware horses, biting kick.
