THIS GRENADE IS REUSABLE!
This is a Genuine pin pull Smoke grenade for airsoft, paintball or reenactment. Roughly based on an M67 Design, however you can use the system to make any type, shape you desire.
The Smoke pellets I use can be bought at a plumbers merchant. The 9 gram ones each give out approximately 15 cubic meters of smoke and burn for around 60 seconds. The Fuse and cardboard Hemispheres are available from firework stockists.

I get mine from the local Plumb Center. They come in various pack sizes. I buy mine in tubs of 100. Works out much cheaper that way. I have seen them on eBay too. Hope that helps. Alex.

Buy dummy hand grenade,remove spent striker and put piece of fuse up from bottom after chamfering the top hole to accept a small pistol primer., seal with drop of wax, reset fuse assembly and screw into body, add smoke generating powder,tape bottom hole of body. pull pin, hear satisfying pop and throw, you have 2 seconds max. Admire smoke, repeat.

Very cool, but a real grenade wouldn't go off until you release the lever. I don't see how you could pull that off though. Maybe have ring holding it in place and hooking it up to the lever instead. Have a spring pulling it down, so once you let go of the lever it would pop out and set off the matches.

I have a already detonated flashbang that has an operational trigger system if you want to re use it you just have to take it apart put a new center shell in there and replace primer at the top if you can make this fire on shotgun primers let me know thanks

Step 1. Watch Step 2 learn Step 3 realise you can make the same thing with a coping saw, hand drill and some sand paper. Or just watch my other m18 smoke grenade video that doesn't require anything more complicated than a pair of scissors. :) Step 4. Enjoy :)

Here's a suggestion. Instead of a threaded rod, use a nail, which has been covered with sandpaper (glued on with contact cement). That would be cheaper than the rod, and propably more reliable, too. Better yet, a piece cut from a coat-hanger.

I can't test it myself, it's hard to find the smoke pellets in my country if you aren't a professionnal. if I may suggest, why not use a little spring with enough strength and recoil to push the rod and connect it on a mobile spoon? so much potential in this little battleground accessory :) good job!

Aaah this video is gold. Did a few of these almost exactly like that though a tube grenade rather than a baseball. (only with little pieces of tubing with caps and a spring instead of the pen cap, that part is true masterwork right there) And used home made smoke powder. They were great until the neighbor of the airsoft field we played at whined and the town said no smoke was allowed anymore.

No you can reuse it as long as nobody treads on it :) you may have to replace the rubberband. If you want it to last a really long time I suggest using copper pipe for the tube. :)
