hello everyone
so it's been a while since making something a bit weird so what better than a cornflake sake?
will it be good? I haven't a clue but it does smell good :)
I do have a soft spot for yeast balls as it malts and ferments all in one. so handy for messing about with unusual brews.

Oh! Come on now. Cornflakes? This is why this channel is a hidden gem on KZbin. I dare you to go beyond cornflakes. Say? I don't know. A twix, make something out of a twix.

Very interesting. Reminds me of an experiment the Craft Beer Channel did, trying to brew beer from Weetabix. The challenge was to only use stuff from a regular supermarket.

I've been away for a while and forgot how entertaining you are. What a great idea.... I have a bag of yeast balls and an unopened box of special K cereal, so now I'm tearing to try this. I'm going to hold out until I see how yours comes out first 😂

I do like how easy koji makes it to brew all sorts of random things easily. The bag of flour was actually pretty good. You know, for something so plain but this should be alot tastier. ( Famous last words 😂)

well its been a little while since i did something a bit odd, seemed like good idea. :P it should be pretty easy to do, flaked corn is used as an adjunct in beer, bud uses it and its not bad for fizzy pop :D

Sat here on the maple syrup cider, but that is nothing compared to your crazy sake adventures. Pretty sure cabbage sake still counts as a cruel and unusual punishment ;)

@@makinghomebrewwildandcheapwe all have that one bottle sitting in the back of a cupboard we are scared to open. I got sent a box of summer beers that are all fruity flavoured so I'm thinking of mixing your dme demijohn brew with random fruit juices (I have 5 demis so can make a decent range) and seeing what happens. Pineapple and mango beer is amazing it turns out
@makinghomebrewwildandcheap
@makinghomebrewwildandcheap 3 жыл бұрын
fortunatly, that horror was shown the door :P yeah fruity beers are pretty good, i personally like mango beer alot, never made them with juices always actual fruit stewed ( with added sugar ) for a punch :P got the honey beer to bottle up shortly. may have to do something fruity next :)

@@makinghomebrewwildandcheap so many idea I want to do, only problem I have it drinking them all 😅 had an idea for a tea based wine. Lots of people say you should add tea to wines for the tannins but never seen any wiens made purely from black tea
@makinghomebrewwildandcheap
@makinghomebrewwildandcheap 3 жыл бұрын
@@dannywhite132 well its only a problem if they turn out rough as sin :P tannins are good in certain wines but its personal preference and the desired outcome you want. the oak leaf wine is a tannin based wine which is really good considering its just leaves ( oak leaves were a tea substitue). a pure black tea wine would be pretty similar in the result. so should be very nice
