@@user-pb8jp9qv4k Thanks Elaine you’re too kind, considering how much paint was left on it’s drying pretty well. I’m never using Wilko paint again, the colours worked well 😊✨🫶🏻

The colours are fabulous, it's a beautiful design. Dutch is not an easy technique to learn, I recently tried it with fails and a couple of successes, I need to practise more and paints thinner. Yours is way better than mine 😊🎉

@@resinartists Hello my lovely Sudja, thank you and yes I agree, it was uneven, that was my lack of confidence and experience, I will be attempting this again using Amsterdam Titanium White as the base. Thanks for watching 😊✨❤️

What type of hair dryer do you use. Is it just a normal type or a specific type for working with paint. xx
@Katsfluidartcreations
@Katsfluidartcreations 8 күн бұрын
Thanks De, it’s just a normal travel hairblower, there isn’t one made for fluid art. It was the white paint that let me down, it couldn’t support the weight of my colours so they sunk into the white paint, shan’t be using again thrown the tube away 😊❤️✨

I think it's pretty....you are too hard on yourself. The colors are fantastic together. Maybe add some "wispy" tendrils to some of the flowers to elongate their flow? I don't have enough experience to even justify my commenting, but I do know it's not as bad as you think! I am subscribing now just to watch you do it again.

22:32 Oh sweetheart, When you said that the paint was beginning to dry on you already, & particularly referring to the white color, Unfortunately honey that wasn’t what was happening (IN MY OPINION) bc what I believe happened was (& if you go back a rewatch from when u started the hair dryer up for the second time I believe it was, you’ll notice that after you had aimed your hair dryer to work on the colored lines of paint you put down, you started to blow off what I’m sure looked liked to you at the time “excess paint” that you didn’t want to leave on the canvas “too much paint” in fear of it cracking, but then later on, you went back to those same spots and where you had blown off that “excess paint” and began to try to blowout your lines of color to nonce or twice more, & bc you had partially removed a lot of that white base paint, (which the base paints sole purpose is to provide you with a slippery surface for when you go to blow out your lines of color, it makes that much much easier, than say trying to accomplish that on something like a dry canvas, for instance, so when you went to blow out these colors once alot of that base paint was gone, it would have made it pretty hard at that point for any of the paint to have gone very far on the canvas, it likely would have only moved ever so slightly once most of its excess slippery surface it had previously was now gone. I hope all this is making sense to you folks, bc in my head it makes plenty sense but I’m not entirely sure if I’m conveying that very well. I just thought I would share my little bit of knowledge on what I THINK may have happened in this situation, now granted I’m certainly not in the room with you to have witnessed this first hand, but I believe that that is what was going on in this video right here. & PLZ DO NOT TAKE THIS AS ME CRITICIZING OR BEING NEGATIVE IN ANY WAY WHAT SO EVER, BC THAT IS 1 BILLION PERCENT NOT AT ALL WHAT IM TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH HERE, bc truth be told I think you did a wonderful job, & especially so for someone who’s just starting out. & I’m FAR FAR FAR FROM ANY KIND OF “PROFESSIONAL” or “EXPERT” in this field, as I’ve only been dabbing in fluid art, for about almost 5 years now. & I’m still learning things everyday. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you bc I want nothing more than for you to take away from my comment a feel like you’ve possibly learned something you may not have know before, all with the hopes that this will help you along your artistic journey and better perfect your craft, so that you hopefully can get to a point that you feel not only comfortable with what your doing but also confident that there isn’t anything that YOU CANT DO! & I will add this last little rid bit that I just adored that you had said right at the beginning when you said “oh let’s be brave and go for it, what’s the worst that can happen” & THAT WAS (to me) the perfect mindset to have and the absolute BEST advice you could have given anyone watching you videos. & I very much applaud you for following through with that statement and actually going for it, bc truthfully what’s the worst that can happen. & Even if the worst was to happen, it’s NEVER A MISTAKE, or a FAIL, BUT RATHER A LESSON & YOU HAVE THEN JUST LEARNED SOMETHING FROM IT HAPPENING AND YOU’LL ALMOST ALWAYS BE BETTER FOR IT THE NEXT GO AROUND FOR THAT LESSON YOU HAD JUST TOUGHT YOURSELF . (Again I hope that made sense to anyone reading this, but especially to you Mrs. Katrina. So keep going honey your doing great! (& I apologize for such an extremely long comment) Take care and have a very BLESSED DAY/WEEK/MONTH/& Year. & A HUGE 🙋🏻‍♀️ From Nicole Richardson from all the way in Houston, TEXAS. 🫶🏻

@@nicolebelanger-richardson77 Hi Nicole, thank you so much, this is the kind of comment I’m looking for on here to help guide not just me but anyone else watching new to fluid art, big hugs. Thank you for watching and I hope you return back too. It made perfect sense, I felt I was fiddling to much, the white base was not up to the job of supporting my colours to glide over, like I said it was a cheaper brand, if you could have seen my face when I realised lol. Totally agree with everything you said, you actually see what I’m doing and have a better angle, it’s a learning curve, I still need to find my niche, take care 😊❤️✨🙏
