Experimenting with Minecraft 1.16 Nether Redstone: The latest snapshots have added a tonne of life into the Nether, so I thought it would be cool to experiment with a few Nether redstone builds in snapshot 20W06A.

Its actually more like 100 lifetimes. ONE netherite block is 36 ancient debris blocks and 36 gold ingots. Now take that and multiply by the amount of blocks he used, thats an insanely big amount of time you have to put in. And with that said, it would take scicraft about a week to make a farm that gets you 10 times more then what mumbo used.

There is a new form of vertical redstone with the new ways walls work now. Walls stacked on top of each other no longer have bumps and remain completely smooth, until another block collides the front, back, or top of the walls. You can actually attach this to an observer and allow instant 1 tick redstone pulses to travel far distances vertically downward. lava (and water too) always flows towards the closest air space below it. so if you put water on a hill, it'll always go down the hill on the shortest path, rather than, say, going sideways across the hill. so, by using a double piston extender, it makes the lava think it's just not worth going forwards, preferring to just go to both sides instead because they're closer.

11:20 Mumbo, the reason they break is that you're moving the block the diagonal rails are leaning on (marked with an x bellow) [ x ] \ _ [ ][ ] If you have two connected platforms only 1 block above each other you need to move the lowest one first, and you can then move the other one freely. This means it would be easier to make if the blocks come from below instead of above, as you need more time in between the segments moving down than when moving up.

It’s a component that, when it receives a redstone pulse, it toggles its output between on and off. There are many different designs, but the simplest is a sticky piston with a redstone block, but you have to make sure the piston only received a 1-tick pulse.

With the piston minecraft rail you could do a rail where you flip a switch earlier in the track, which replaces a later bit of track with an activator rail that would then trigger a piston to retract making the cart go down instead of across and then maybe at the bottom in the base you have a button to reset it to normal rail instead of an activator rail so everyone else just goes across.

Yes, rails will pop if you will pull block underneath them down. But if you will push rails from up, they'll be successfully pushed downwards.

Piston bridge works best along a wall instead of open space. Have it pop up from under. You can do rails that assembles into slopes as you fall off one rail onto another.

Well, if it isn't bad it certainly is annoying. I had to add 7 ticks of delay to my redstone contrapion and make it less compact to add consistency when it tecnically should have worked 100% of the time the first time :/
