So tough! Glad to see that FFG learned from Wrecking Crew and all other multi villain scenarios are more variable. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for watching, Oreste! Yea this scenario was super fun. I wasn’t a big fan of how the active counter moved (as you can see from this game I kept second guessing if I remembered 😅) but the villains are very well designed.

Excellent play! After playing with Bishop today I noticed Magik fits my playstyle a bit more. Still a very fun hero, just a bit tougher to use for me.

Thank you 🙏🙏 And I can see that-his rng could definitely be frustrating. Magik is tough for me because of the sequencing with her top deck so we’re kinda opposites there 😂

@@webwarriorfanatic If possible, give deck 37328 a try, I've mainly tested it vs Magneto and I'm quite confident it should give you some new inspiration on an alternative playstyle for Magik that differs greatly from your usual (and astonishingly consistent) style of play. 👍

Another great playthrough. Can I ask, is there a reason you don't lean into Bishop's hero ability a bit more? Obviously you're having a lot of success without it, but there are times I feel you could play his Energy Conversion card (I think it's the one that shuffles all resource cards in discard back into your deck..?) and you don't. Is it just a playstyle thing, or is it just not optimal?

It’s definitely a playstyle thing! It was also just kind of how this game played out as I’m reacting to what the villains throw at me. I believe I used his uniform and hero ability more against Unus. I think Energy Absorption/Bishop’s Uniform can be VERY powerful, but I don’t want to rely on it and make it my focal point because of the rng component. My strategy with this deck is focus on his AE ability, Temporally Displaced to grab his double resource to play big cards and use Utopia to get readies to control the board. Leaning into Energy Absorption can be just as strong but not as consistent imo. Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you enjoyed this game :)

No problem, good to hear your thoughts on it! Yeah I guess if you've built his deck to work with a specific part of his kit then you'll naturally rely on other aspects of it less. I'm excited about the rng part of his abilities, and I feel like getting his deck right down and then shuffling all those resource cards back in to increase the odds of drawing them on the villain's turn (and subsequently healing using his suit) would be a massive rush!

@@samvisser9408 it’s sooo good! Just played a multiplayer game with this deck using Energy Conversion with 1 card left in my deck… ended up drawing all the resources from multiple attacks and used the Rifle for 8 damage during the player phase 🤯

This is what I'm talking about! Those are the turns I'm looking for! Magik's great and all but it's Bishop that has me itching to get my hands on him (although still very keen to see how Magik plays - she looks fun)!

@@samvisser9408 I feel you! I’m uploading scenario #3 against Apocalypse right now, and I think you’ll enjoy the use of Energy Conversion in that game :)

I'm disappointed that you don't keep us up to speed with the story I've no idea what is going on. Not really I've not read any since RedSkull. Bishop looks fun, more than Magic which was the reverse of what I was expecting. You still get those hands with too many resources. His sink seems a pretty good outlet and naturally builds into the meta one shotting stage 3.

Lol! I was reading that like “dang I should have read the story” 😂 That’s the same sentiment I had. Was expecting to love Magik but I ended up having more fun playing Bishop. I’ve ran 8 resources on other heroes before so I had a pretty smooth transition for him 😁
