You should do non equestrian goes to a barn bbq for the first time. I have the kindest most loving best friend ever and I’m bringing her to my teen night at the barn next week. It’s halloween themed and Anna, the friend, loves animals. She’s literally so excited and so am I. No riding, just chilling with horses, and eating. Love it

I love this channel! I'm not much of a horse person, but I love your approach to horses, horse training-- and as a dog trainer, I love seeing these different approaches and positivity! I always think of training as a way to open up lines of communication-- and you've done such an amazing job doing that with Zurreal (and Kazi!) ok i had an idea for a video. what if you did like “Equestrians Everyday” where you show funny things equestrians do outside of the barn. for instance: -clicking/smooching at random objects or pets -when your riding in the car looking out at a field and picturing yourself galloping across it (idk if anyone else does this but i do😂) -and anything else you can think of! i think it would be really funny😂❤️

At the barn where I ride I see so many people getting frustrated with their horse when they aren't doing the right thing or tried to buck them off and its so sad to see. Today while we were doing bending poles our instructor also told us to trot over a cross, and so my horse, Blaze, likes to jump all her crosses and jumps and stuff like that, and I'm still very new, so I ofc asked for a handler to just walk beside me so that she wouldn't try to jump the cross, and the horses at my barn can be stubborn sometimes, so when they need to canter, they have someone ride behind them to get them going, so Blaze thought that when the guy was running by her, it meant that she had to canter, even though that wasn't what we wanted her to do, but we all understood why she did it so we ofc weren't upset with her, and I have never cantered before,cause as I said I'm still new, and Blaze just kinda took off and I was very scared at the time because I had obviously never cantered before, but once she realised that that wasn't what we needed her to do she soon stopped. When we got back to the actual stables after our lesson to intake and all thay , there was a crowd of people that came up to me and asked why I wasn't upset with Blaze and that I should get someone else to untack her so she would know I was upset with her. And I kinda just told all of them that she didn't actually do anything wrong and she just didn't get the right information. It is so sad to see that so many people would "punish" or make them feel like they did something wrong, when they didnt , and it unfortunately something that I see every day at my barn. I just want to say that I am so happy that you haven't gotten frustrated with Zurreal and " punished" him/ her * sorry can't remember*. I wish you all the luck in the world on your journey with Zurreal. (Also sorry about this being so long)

1:44 thats the sad truth about most horses. Many people seem to think that just because a horse cost a lot or has won a few competitions, it's "too good" to run around, be itself and just be a horse outdoors, in a grassy field, without a blanket (let's be honest, who would want to wear a jacket during the hottest day of the year just because it MIGHT start raining?). I really don't understand how people think it's right to just let a horse, an animal who's ancestors used to live outdoors 24/7, be outdoors for an hour a day and blame it on the horse being a show horse.
