What’s your process of importing hair from Blender to CC4 please? Any tutorials?

Hello , 1.How did you bring your own characters' hair into CC4? as an FBX? separate or with the character? 2. did you have to set up physics for it in IC8? 3. you said you can connect the head to a body already in the scene , do you mean a body you created in CC4 or a custom imported FBX body. Sorry for all the questions , but this caught my attention. Thx.

Hi @mp85p , To import CC characters into game software, please refer to these tutorials: courses.reallusion.com/home/iclone/pipelines/unreal?v=iclone-8-and-cc4-tutorial-auto-character-setup-for-unreal-engine-5 courses.reallusion.com/home/iclone/pipelines/unity?v=iclone-8-and-cc4-tutorial-getting-started-with-unity-auto-setup iClone and Character Creator do not directly support exporting models in YDD or YTD formats. However, you can import the character into Blender first and then use OpenIV or ZModeler 3 to convert the model into those formats.

Just take a generic head model and push the verts to match a photo front and side. Then map the photo planar projection. done. The 3d model you ended up with is not 'you' but just a kinda you, you just wasted time with the photogametry stage and clean up.
