1. It's best to place your fighting position 12+ blocks off of the ground. When they fall off, if the zombie is more than 11 blocks away, this disrupts their destroy everything mode so you don't waste time /resources repairing the base. 2. The Scaffolding Ladder is the god block of A21 (expect a future nerf). You can shoot, and melee through it, spears are king for a two layer approach. It's difficult for creatures to spit or melee through, and you have clear visibility. 3. It's a preference, but I prefer normal blocks to ramps, as it slows zombies getting to you, allowing your stamina to recharge. 4. Putting a sledge turret next to your fighting position helps with crowd control.

This base did not work on day 7 horde. The smaller zombies gather in the "cone" and destroy the blocks. Mine was even upgraded to cobblestone. Yes, if the zombies jump, it pushes them off, but two or three zombies can gather in there and destroy the blocks. As long as you have stamina, it works. Once you have to wait on stamina, the zombies gain the edge.

Yeah I made this in A21, 1.0 the pathing has been changed. Take out the triangle blocks and wedges on the sides and it works like it used too

I got your expert tips right here, @kraken85 🤣 Did you know that you can turn that into an afk base? See the Glass Base for details. 😉 14:06 you misplaced some text.
