Expert Tips: Master Good Experimental Practice for DSC

Most of the time I see DSC users run their sample from room temperature to way above the melting point, at a single heating rate. They then don't look at the data until a report is needed. Is this a good idea? Absolutely not! By recording your DSC measurements in this way you are making your life much harder. It's SO MUCH BETTER to think about experimental design before you make any analysis, and run your sample more than once. Ah, great series! Im learning how to operate a DSC at my university for a materials characterization lab internship. I spent a few hours watching the entire series and you answered every question i didnt even know i needed to ask haha. Great series, and thank you.
