So what? My mom chewed my food as a baby! I was born in a developing country and we didn’t have “baby food.” EVERYTHING had to be chewed by my mother’s mouth and placed into mine! 😂

I am Native American, I chewed my babies food before giving it to them. Our family cosleeps and cobathes. My mother died in our home after 6 years ina hospital bed, my daughter's and I would put her in our big walk in shower and help bathe her. My daughter's still sleep with me when my husband is on the road which is often. It's a different way for us, I think a better way. It's the natural way. We also eat family style from one big plate at dinner often. Right now I'm a manager of a restaurant and working 60 hours weekly. Watching a movie with my 11 and 16 year old after work and falling asleep is our routine. It's the only time I get to spend with them lately. We should be focused on the parents of school shooters and their parenting practices not some mom who has every right no raise her kids as she pleases.

I don’t understand how people see this as such an issue? I’m 16, 17 in 3 months and I still sleep with my mum. Its nice and comforting especially since I suffer with depression and severe anxiety 👍

I slept in my parent's bed until I was 16. Not only because I was terrified of sleeping alone, but my mother's snoring has always been a serious issue. She kept my dad awake so much that he would wake me up to switch rooms with him. I finally stopped sleeping in my mom's bed at 16 because I truly realized how ridiculous it was to be scared of the dark at that age. My dad eventually moved all his stuff into the guest room, so that's his bedroom and where he sleeps.

Hi, I disagree about the Co-Sleeping when it's an opposite sex parent and the child is starting to get hormones. I've had conversations with men who have a lot of emotional and sexual problems. Some of them have said that they had unrequited feelings of sexuality towards their mother, because as soon as the hormones hit - and they start hitting sometimes around 9 years old! 9, 10, 11, 12 etc. As soon as the Testosterone hit, they saw their mother as a beautiful, exciting woman. One of these guys' Moms was in bed nude, and he was sleeping up on her and got Erections and I know she had to feel it. She was allowing this to happen every night. He had a permanent state of Blue Balls about his mom and she now occupied the position of First Love in his mind, not his future girlfriend or wife. That's Sexual Abuse, I'm sorry. And the mom, who's husband was long gone, was eating it up. She wanted the attention. I think some of these moms justify this by saying that "they didn't touch their son". But if they could feel that he had an erection, that is still sexual abuse. If they even think he is seeing her that way, that should end the Co-sleeping on the spot and there should be some gentle education on what is appropriate. I personally don't think they should be co-sleeping anywhere around the age where hormones MIGHT be present. Doesn't all the Inshmest Porn on Porhnub and other sites give anyone a clue??? There are a lot of boundaries being broken right now that never were in the past - "blended" families etc where the supposed "brother and sister" who AREN'T RELATED are sleeping in the same room, etc. Then everyone is mystified as to why aaalllllll the "step porn" is appearing on Pornhub. We need to stop being clueless!

True story I slept with my parents until I was 18 as a teenager I was kind of bad sneaking out of the house threw my window and they made me sleep next to them... my parents were so overprotective over bearing of me it was suffocating me I even suffered from deep depression as a teen .. I had a beautiful room I had everything I could ever imagine as a teenager in there but they would never let me sleep in there

Oh.. it matters I have seen it, I have 13 nieces /nephews, I am watching them grow up,it makes kids very codependent to their mothers, emotionally and also makes them Insecure, One of my sisters showered with my nephew until he was 9, slept with him until around 16 , he had to tell her to stop,he is a 20 year old and has never had a girlfriend or friends he spends all day on his room playing video games and mom does everything for him, he is very insecure, another of my nephews has anxiety attacks whenever my sister has to travel, guess what? She still sleeps with him and he is 11, also he started touching himself at a very concerning age, around 3! He also liked to touch his mothers breast as a "game", and my sister thought it was "love", turned out she slept in very short pijamada without a bra, I was so worried I had to say something, but she still sleeps with him, so many other issues in school, again insecurities, afraid of being alone, he is bullied etc. That is not love Alicia , is self serving, is for the parents, the kids needs to be helped Into adulthood, guidance , not to be crippled emotionally, specially when is about boys, the girls in my family however don't present any issue , in fact they claim their independence very early. Is a huge red flag for me because I have seen how bad affects boys.

I dont see anything wrong with it unless there is underline conditions in the home, like mom and dad fighting so much the child is a tool for coping, my mom always clinged to us when she was fighting with her husband , it was the only time she wanted to be a mom, everytime she would offer us 200 dollars to go shopping , i knew she was fighting with her husband and id get up and leave the house , leaving her to wallow in her own misery.... and as far as chewing the babys food , i think its is normal if ur giving them a piece of gum out ur mouth or candy but a whole meal seems like a personal choose because there are food proccesers.... but .I have no room to judge i dont like tummy time ,I tired holding my baby so they didnt get a flat head but , i feel like tummy time prevents the baby from breathing properly because they are focusing on breathing and holding their heads up and lack of oxagent to the brain is bad , but babys need to learn to hold up their heads so it needs to be done...... MY ISSUE WITH PARENTS FEEDING THEIR BABYS Is feeding them at a table, i think more people need to feed babys infront of a tv on the couch because i feel like babys are rushed to eat because the parent wants to finish giving the baby food, i saw my friend feed a baby a jar of baby food with in 5 seconds,really really fast, it was scary, That baby was being feed everyday like eating like mom had a job to get to,......And when i feed my baby , she asked if my baby didnt like the food, i said no thay i just want my baby to take their time and not have an eating disorder, ( all her kids eat to servive and are skinny and dont eat when they are mad ) , id give my baby a bit of food then flip through the channels on the tv then when i found a good channel to watch id give them another bit,

My son has never slept in the same room, let alone the same bed as me . Not to knock her parenting style it is just not the same as mine. 😊 My son has always been in his own bed, and crib has as a infant I always had him use to his own room and space. Especially now he is 16 yrs 😁
