UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

hello , great video... i have a question regarding reels? since most of hp reels got 3/8" connection, and ive seen lots people use the same reels (softwash/high pressure and garden hose)... my question is, did you order reel each for its purpose (with different size fittings) or you use only 3/8" s, and add fittings on? sorry, my english is not the best... bassicly, what im interested in is, if i take all 3 reels 3/8, will it limit the flow on 1/2" hose softwash hose, for example? thank you, all the best
@joshuaervin44273 жыл бұрын
I would definitely like to know the answer to your question, because as he mentioned, he had his pressure hose reel with the 1st 50' 3/8, then he said he added 100' of 1/2" ....kinda confusing to me..
@ExpertPowerWash3 жыл бұрын
First 50 1/2 then a section or two of 100ft 3/8 hose.
@ExpertPowerWash3 жыл бұрын
I use a 1/2 hose reel for pressure and softwash hose. 1 in hose reel for water supply.
@justinmesa76676 жыл бұрын
I’d strap down any hard line hoses. The primary blue hose going to the buffer tank up top, the feeder line going to the machine, the high pressure line going from the machine to the reel. They seem fine just hanging out but during drive time and site time running, the vibrations can cause the low pressure lines to jump around enough to crack their connection to the pvc which could either destroy your pump if they leak and you don’t notice while working or even if you do, that’s now down time to repair it. The high pressure line I would distance it away from any metal that it can rub against then blow the line. The fuel tank I’d ratchet strap down for the same reasons as the pvc, the bungee cord allows it to shift back and forth while traveling and with the tank hitting the eye hooks or frame it can create a crack. If when strapped down it touches a hook, cut a large pool noodle (blue since it’s a relatable color for this line of work ;-) ) down the center and wrap it around the hooks then zip tie it. Fuel line, I’d wrap it with a larger size fuel line if it lays on anything so the larger line takes the rubbing. With that small job drop tube, flush it out with fresh water and leave it in a small bucket with a lid, I see it damaging your deck already. Last thing I’d like to say is take full advantage of your ramp, keep it in the upright position and add painted 2x4’s to the top and bottom with short pvc tubes attached to it and insert brooms, wands, extensions, flat shovels, whatever you may need. It’s a Great Wall for skinny items. None of this is said with insult to the build or any negative way, just some things I noticed so I thought I’d mention it to a fellow cleaner to hopefully help make your life a little easier when cleaning. #WashOn

New to this and just have a few questions. Why do you need the 12volt system if you have a down stream hook up? Can you soft wash with just a power washer if so what is the advantage of a 12volt pump doing it? When you soft wash do you just use the 12volt to spray chemicals and power washer to rinse off or do you rinse off with the 12volt? Thanks the trailer looks great !
@ExpertPowerWash4 жыл бұрын
You will get a lot of different answers depending on who you ask. The power washer is used for downstreaming and rinsing. You will only at best get a 1% mix from this way. Downstreaming is best for pretreatment of concrete and house washing. You can soft wash with a power washer if using the proper tips to lower the pressure. At this point it’s more about volume than pressure. At 8 gallons a minute, you can shoot around three stories high. This keeps you safely on the ground. A 12 volt is used when you need a stronger mix but won’t shoot as high. I use the 12 volt mainly for roofs and post treatment. Hope this helps. I would recommend search on PWRA for more info. Make sure to be very careful with FB groups. A lot of new guys on there proclaiming to be pros. Rob Anderson is another great guy to follow on YT. I appreciate the comments.

For that drop stick, the way you set it up allows for no chemicals to run through your engine?
@ExpertPowerWash5 жыл бұрын
Correct. It pulls after the engine and the pump. Most big box store pressure washers have the injector attached to the pump. That’s why the pumps fail. Chemicals corrode the pumps quick.

@ExpertPowerWash4 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the comments. As long as you have a belt drive pressure washer, it will suck water. A direct drive pressure washer is the most common type. They can also work but must be level with the tank for the gravity of the water to flow to the pump. Stick with a belt drive and you will be better off. Hope that helps.

I didn't see a battery charger anywhere. Do you drag a charger out to the trailer each night or haul the better in? Also, the Flexzilla hoses - I cannot stess how much I LOVE THOSE HOSES! Highly visible - if a lawn service comes to mow while you are working, I seriously doubt they will hit this hose - it just stands out loud and proud. The color is so loud it needs a volume control knob! They are pretty much 99.9% kink free, drinking water safe, about 30-40% lighter than most other hoses which matters if you have a ground person hauling a hose around rinsing all day while roof washing/Soft Washing. As my other hoses die off, Flexzilla is the only replacement for me. You can also buy Flexzilla hose in a 1,000 ft. reel (I think?) and make custom lengths. Instead of a drop stick for the chemical tank, why not put in a bulkhead and permeant draw tube and leave it connected full time? If you do this, plumb the fittings on the TOP of the tank. This way you won't ever end up accidentally hitting the bulkhead and breaking it, and leaking your SH in the customers yard/driveway or driving down the road. If you have an issue with the connections with top plumbing, you're not at risk of leaking anything. You can put in a 3-way valve if you ever have any issues priming the pump. This will allow you to keep the tank lid capped so you don't collect leaves and other debris in your tank in the fall which could run through your pump. I personally like to mount my 12 volt pumps with the pump head down so if it ever develops a leak it cannot run into the pump motor. Love the addition of the vice - great idea! I'd use the trailer gate in the rear to put some PVC piping to hold things like rakes, brooms, etc. And the back can be used to mount a sign for advertising while driving down the road. Cheap advertisement! I'd also strap the PW gas tank down more securely. The existing strap will allow it to move while you are driving and it may damage the tank and cause a leak. The bungee cord will weaken over time , heat and sunlight, and probably gas fumes too. Home Depot has water tight lids for normal sized lids for your 5 gallon bucket. I think I paid $5 to $7 for mine. It snaps in securely, and has an easy spin top with a gasket which seals a lot better than you think so you don't need to empty your 5 gallon bucket before traveling to the next job. Also great for keeping gutter brightening chemicals in for storage between jobs. They keep these with the 5 gallon buckets at HD. I would personally put something under the Titan reels to boost their height so the bottom reel is easier to wind up. Winding up the hose is the worst part of the day for me. I'm tired, and my reel sucks, but then again my hose reel is old and overdue for a visit to the dumpster and I'll be replacing it with a Titan 18". Overall though, a rather impressive trailer build. Nicely done!

Panoramic Clean, Thank you for watching. I keep the battery charger in the garage and just hook it up as needed. You brought up some interesting points on how you have yours set up. I’d like to look at a few pics of yours if you have a link. I’m getting ready to change up the way I have the box and 12 volt system set up. You have a lot of good points. Thank you.

Thanks EPW - Not so much as how I have mine set up as just things I've learned along the way from reading, watching video's and being observant, and being more than a touch OCD about everything. Even if I do something 180 degrees different, I can still find something to learn in a lot of videos. I'm finally at a point that I can start putting my profits back into the business now that I have that financial monkey off my back. I'm a Soft Washer that is currently one-batching on an old trailer and my hose reel and stand are badly in need of replacement. I have had great training, so I still win most jobs I compete on. I just got a new to me Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab and will be rebuilding my system to mount in the back of my truck piece by piece with a metering valve blended set up, booster pump, and a mid-range 4 GPM pressure washer for the time being. This is a side job that I'm growing, so I am primarily doing roof cleaning. Every Tom, Dick & Harry with a pressure washer thinks they can do professional cleaning and lowball jobs all over the place so I'm perfectly content at the moment on roofs, plus I enjoy roof cleaning more than house washing. The TD&H group seldom try to compete with me in roof cleaning, and even if they lowball, my training allows me to talk circles around them all day long so I usually get the job at a higher price anyway on the trust factor. Being OCD makes me excel in this line of business. :0) One day down the road I may splurge for a trailer build similar to yours though. There is no denying how fast you can do a house wash with a rig like that.

Your 690 should have enough amps in the charging circuit to charge your marine battery while the power washer is running. Mine has a 17A charging circuit so I ran two 10 gauge cables from the power washer battery over to my marine battery, it shows about 13.9 volts when the power washer is running. The electrons are moving anyway why not save them for later?

What’s your go to mix ratio for the 65G tank? Thanks.
@ExpertPowerWash6 жыл бұрын
John Furr, 50/50 for roofs. For houses roughly 2 gallons SH and about 1 gallon of water. It varies a little depending on how bad the house is. Ratios are based on 12.5% fresh SH. This is just a basic ratio. Your ratios will change slightly depending on the job. Always use a good surfactant. About an once per gallon. I like cling on and slomo for roofs and Elemonator for houses.

Thanks for the reply and info. I just rewatched your video and saw your injector. For some reason I thought you batch mixed in the 65G. Nice rig my man!

How do you get the 8 gallon per min to work with a foam cannon? I use a5gallon per min to wash driveways. I also have another pump 3.5 gallon per minute I can exchange if the water pressure at the house is aweful..... my question is this in a nut shell..... when you down stream using 12 percent bleach, with the 8 gallon per min,,, does it become to diluted... ? Thanks for answering
@ExpertPowerWash6 жыл бұрын
William Coley, thanks for watching. I have never used a foam cannon, I’ve heard of it and seen a few videos. Downstreaming is the way to go for me. I use the General Pump high draw chemical injector. I can dilute my 12.5 SH 2 parts SH 1 part water with 1 oz of Elemonator per gallon if that makes sense. This works 95% of the time. Very rarely I run it straight if the house is really bad.

Expert Power Wash where is the 1” inlet line coming from that goes into your 12v pump? I love your videos!
@ExpertPowerWash4 жыл бұрын
I believe what you are referring to is the crush proof inlet tube? That one has a filter on the end that is part of a drop stick that draws the mix. It is then reduced down to 1/2 inch. This custom tube was created for me by Pressure Washer Products.

How much did it cost you to build this set up?
@ExpertPowerWash6 жыл бұрын
I bought the trailer on sale for $1400 and have about $8000 in all the equipment. Total of $9400. I’m sure you could spend less but this is a great commercial and residential rig. The 8 GPM is definitely worth it if you can swing it. Another option is to buy used.
@panoramicclean39566 жыл бұрын
The difference between 4 GPM and 8 GPM in the amount of time it takes to clean a house is massive. My friend just bought a trailer set up very similar to this and he raves about the upgrade to the 8 GPM machine and how much faster he can do jobs.
@ExpertPowerWash6 жыл бұрын
Panoramic Clean, I could not agree more. I know it’s possible with a 4 GPM machine but why limit yourself. Work faster make more money. The 8 GPM pays for itself very quickly. Thanks for watching.

The only reason to have 8 gallons per minute would be to clean driveways,,, do you really run 8 gallons per minute to soft wash.?
@ExpertPowerWash6 жыл бұрын
William Coley, it does work very well for surface cleaning. Yes I soft wash with it. It’s all about the tips and volume of water. It is way faster, rinses better, and shoots higher. It all comes down to preference and what works for you. This works awesome for me. I appreciate the comments and stopping by the channel.
