Nice video...thanks I picked up (Bose Companion 5 speakers)10 maybe 15 years ago and they are still getting it done . I also have home pods and home minis which are nice but the Bose 5 beat em all .T Its a shame Bose doesn't make the 5 anymore .

Logitech and Creative have always offered good, affordable speakers for the non-audiophile (like me). For the last few years I've been using TEAC "bookshelf" speakers that look like the JBLs you featured, and they deliver very good sound. I also have an Amazon Echo Studio that occasionally goes on sale for $150, it's bluetooth and I have it paired with my Apple TV. Lots of bass, fills the room.

Thanks for the post. Yes, they always have solid basic speakers for sure. I remember Teac and I used to have one back in the day. Nice.

Everyone: get the PreSonus 3.5. They are a 100 bucks without BT. Sound is phenomenal, since they are studio monitors. Great soundstage, resolution and directionality.

That is one pick for sure.

Nice. I never liked the "computer speakers" even ones like the klipsch promedia 2.1. I had the klipsch promedia 2.1 and they were just lacking in the mids and the bass was muddy and just not that great. They were very loud though. But then again people tell me i'm an audiophile. Of course that's in contrast to my desktop setup now: Kali audio LP-UNF monitors Presonos Eris Sub 8 subwoofer. What do you think of my setup? I like it. All running from my 2021 16 in m1 max macbook pro.

Nice setup but a bit more then the $150 price in the video. Yes, there are some nice setups out there for sure. I personally just use headphones if I want very good sound but do understand why people like the good audio speakers and setups. Thanks for watching the channel.

Homepod Mini's do not work! There is a significant delay which makes them unusuable.
@craigneidel4 ай бұрын
I have not had that issue.

They have no delay with Apple products.

Bluetooth speakers -- watching or editing videos using Bluetooth speakers one should be prepared to endure latency affect. Even the latest Bluetooth version 5.3 has the time delay issue. Given that Apple does NOT license the best (for now) SONY audio codec (LDAC), latency (and frequency response range) on Apple devices are more pronounced than when streaming using Android devices.

Yes, the bluetooth might be for just listening to music etc. Thanks for the post and info.
