I got excited when I saw this video pop up, hoping it was a MIDI looper. I'm already deeply excited by this thing but, it having a looper that would allow for off-the-cuff, pre-CV looping of basic note information would just about knock my socks off.

That's great. Is the looper always mono, like the EX one ? Wouldnt it possible to record a stereo loop ? I've always wondered why its not possible on the EX

The EX has always had the option of stereo loops, and so does this.

Very informative video on the looper, thanks! Quick question on how you are getting midi from the FH-2 to the NT. Are you using the "Midi Forwarding" on the FH-2 to send the USB midi input to the midi out of the FH-2 via the midi pins on the PCB and then to the midi in pins on the back of the NT? Thanks!

Effectively. It's actually going through the Select Bus, but the result is the same - USB MIDI from the controller being converted to old school MIDI by the FH-2.

How are you remote controlling the Looper on the Dist NT when the the keyboard is connected to an "Offscreen Dist EX"?.... I don't see anything connected to the NT except audio

Yes, several. How would you want that to work? i.e. what's causing the start and stop in your scenario?

How is the midi controller connected to the Disting ? it seems to be routed thru the FH-2 ? is there a cable connecting the FH-2 and the Disting behind ? im new to your products , just bought the FH-2

It's actually connected via the Select Bus in this case, but it's certainly possible to connect the two modules via their MIDI headers, behind the panels.

@@ExpertSleepersLtd What is the main difference between the Midi header and the Select bus ? Im looking to expand the FH-2 with the FHX-8GT for more clocks and triggers. Im having issues with the velocity leaving the VCO always open a bit , also the pitch is way to high vs a Middle C , I tried calibration but its still to high.

@@geluix69 The Select Bus is convenient when you want to broadcast MIDI to several modules at once, and it saves you having to actually connect wires to each module. The downside is that it's a unidirectional connection. If you have other support issues I suggest you post on the forum or send us an email.
