Explained | Bank staff on 2-day strike: Why, & how you'll be impacted

Employees of many banks in India have gone on a two-day strike beginning March 15. The 'hartal' has been called by the United Forum of Bank Union, an umbrella body of 9 bank unions. Bank branches were shut, and staffers were seen holding posters against the Central government's decision to privatise 2 public sector banks. Deposits and withdrawals at branches, cheque clearances, and loan approvals to be impacted by the strike, while functioning of many private banks is expected to be unaffected. Maine net banking ke liye apply karaya tha last year march tak govt bank mein kehte 3-4 din mein chaalu ho ayega apni email id dedo, aaj tak na hua. Mein HDFC gaya 10 minute mein card, net banking, account , cheque book sab kaam ho gaye. Bilkul kissi kaam ke na hai sarkari babus.

@@sagniksarkar2894 Yes that means now foreign investor can invest more and can become the majority stake holder of any insurance company. It does not necessarily mean that govt. is going to privatize LIC. LIC is not the only insurance company in India.

Madam economically feasible public wil need and talk of service, but people who depend on just pension and a minimum balance of 100-500 in a account and also who earn a mere Amount of 500-10000 per month need govt.banks And those mere people form more population of Our country

Psb are part of society.These bank have always help the needy. Ask the students whose education could be completed due to educational loan from psb bank.Ask the youth who have emerged as successful entrepreneur due to support of psb.Private bank always enjoy cream of society.They gives only housing loan, car loan and business loan to rich only. But psb have always helped the poor needy youth.
