Reading every label when I purchase something, bought Swiss chocolate instead of American the other day. My grocery cart was full but not one American product. I will definitely buy more Australian products if I can.

As of today, the US has not placed new tariffs on Australia. I suggest, Albanese will negotiate some concessions. Australia has an advanced economy and would be ineligible to join BRICS.

@@petersinclair3997 I doubt he will, last time round he also let Mexico & Canada off the hook but he tried again with them. As Australia has a huge trade deficit with the US, the only option is to stick tariffs straight back at them & see if he relaxes his stance as all US exports to Australia will take a further hit. If it were only Australia, it wouldn't impact the US economy too much but if other countries all do it, then it definitely will.
