On 16 June, in a face off with the Chinese army, India lost 20 soldiers. The disturbance was a result of a long standing dispute between India and China close to the Laddakh border. In this episode of Asaan Bhasha Mein, Prateeksha Pandey explains the difference between LAC (Line of Actual Control), LOC (line of control) and the actual international borders. Both LAC and LOC have a history several years old with Pakistan and China respectively.

The treaty of SUGAULI 1816 in between Government of NEPAL and BRITISH India. 1816 to 2020 in Short Cut The Government of NEPAL has released a revised official map of NEPAL including its own territory Limpiadhura,Kalinadhi,Lipulake and Kalapani shown in circle which was occupied by India without any negotiation after Indo - China War in 1962. Since then NEPAL is raising its voice regularly.The new revised official map is based on just after the first WORLD WAR in between The Government of NEPAL and BRITISH INDIA. In 1816 finally the both Government had made a treaty together which is also called SUGAULI Treaty,as a symbol of friendship.Although Nepali territory is still occupied by India which is unacceptable to Government of NEPAL since 1962 .LADHAKH is the border point of Greater Nepal ,India and China.
