Thank you so much for your video. I wanted to provide some feedback from a boots on the ground in QLD. 1.) Employers in Brisbane hardly or will not sponsor employees even after many years of faithful and value added employment. 2.) The process for onboarding employers as sponsors is too time-consuming and unecessary doesn't the immigration department already have access to intergovernmental data to verify legitimate businesses as sponsors? 3. You mentioned 2 years of work experience and one degree will qualify one for a 482. I might have read differently but for a 482 PR pathway the requirement is very deviously 3 years and a degree. I appreciate you making things seem really rossiee but in all honesty things are hard, prejudicial and unnecessary. The immigration department should stop exploiting people.

Fully agree with you. She makes it sound too easy giving people a false hope.There is about a 10,000 $ cost involved to sponsor an employee.Here is a breakdown of application costs DHA Application Costs:( Surcharge of 1.40% applies on all visa costs payable): - Nomination: $330 plus - SAF Levy ($1,200 per nominee per year for businesses with turnover less than $10 million or $1,800 per nominee per year for businesses with turnover more than $10 million) - Visa: $3,115 Others: - Migration Agent Professional fees (approx $5000) - LMT outsourced to a private firm- $1000

@@mahtab220 there is a housing shortage in the country and definitely civil engineers are in demand. Building and construction is a priority sector. I would suggest you look into WA subclass 491 and subclass 190 under the points tested stream. In this months invitations round the cut-off was 90 points, but only WA residents were invited.

Hello Chen, Jist a quick one please. An organisation appointed me on a full time offer and in the job ad, it states 482 sponsorship available. I had been appointed the position of Residential support officer, but they said they sponsor after 12months working with them. But I told them my COVID-19 visa isn't upto 12momths and they said they can sponsor me before my current visa elapse. I've been working as a Disability Support Worker (permanent part time) up to 3 years now. What do you think about this? Do I have wait? Or is there a way to go about it so that they can sponsor me for the 482 visa asap?

Hi. You are missing the point. Is your employer who doesn't want to sponsor you before 12 months working with them. If your Covid visa is about to expire, you need to line up another employer willing to sponsor you. If your current employer will think about it base on the fact your current visa is about to expire, but still they don't want to spend money in a 482 visa process petition, you need to talk with them about Age care labour agreement, as in the only visa pathway for you. Please read it, as in a special process of visa petition and your employer needs to do a couple of steps before the final visa petition can be lodged. If you are running out of time, apply for a student visa will be the way to go.

If an employee has already been working for, lets say, 2 years with the employer, what's the need (if there is) for the employer to advertise for the role to sponsor that employe? Doesn't make sense. Asking for a friend.
