The fact that this wasn't thrown out of court immediately shows how pathetic our justice system is. Judges need to interpret the law and give their opinions on the law, and shut up about their own opinions on the case. In a normal country, any judge like this would be tossed out of the judicial system

Hutiye, Interpretation of law itself means judges apply their opinion into their interpretation. Judiciary is subjective not objective. Its interpretation means it depends upon who the subject is. Objective is subjective independent and each will arrive at the same conclusion. Do you even comprehend what you are saying or in a simpler term, can you yourself hear what you are saying. Read your comment aloud to see the contradictory logic you are proposing.

Jutiye, the judge is supposed to pass judgement on case and not interpret more than what’s on the agenda. Otherwise judges would start Giving opinions on weather. Also, taking away a source for knowledge of crores just because a fat old lady got offended, for example, in a hypothetical scenario, should be deemed stupid if it happens.

Just like you didn't like the judge making that comment, the judge didn't like the way of functioning. It's "subjective". If you were a judge in the upper court and had authority to make comments on that court, you would be well within your rights to make a comment on the said judge. So stop cringing, that's what judges do. Multiple times comments have been made on different governments or organisations if they were parties in a case.

Idk but ANI actually does spread "propaganda" so technically no defamation... But the HC Judge told Wikipedia- if you don't like India don't be here... (common sense left the chat) Judges should incorporate more common sense and knowledge of the world while giving judgement/statement. Wikipedia itself has no control of its articles + it's the truth. The Judge does seem biased (may be a devotee, or is pressurised by the government, we have all seen the CJI)
