It's actually an unspoken fact that soldiers often inherit what's called "the prison effect" which is how innocent men go to jail and come out cold blooded killers. They do in fact get a taste for blood and it never goes away. There was a convention in Texas recently where a army guy was glorifying the act of drinking from a skull. He literally described the process of breaking down a person and turning their skull into a cup to drink from. This is what army men are like, and it's terrifying that people think being violent is a virtue, that entire forces of people itching to commit murder actually exist on the planet. I wish people were honest so that we would admit the only reason we praise and worship literal psychopaths is out of fear and not reverence. Such men should be so upstanding that his people do not fear him. But alas, they do, and it's because there is reason to fear them. He is not harmless; therefore he is not peaceful either.
