I've always been a fan of the Ryudamon line. They don't always get as much notoriety as I would like. I do hope we see Ouryumon in extended media more. His only appearance has been as Alphamon Ouryuken in Adventure Tri. Ouryumon on his own is an incredible powerful draconic digimon (and easily one of my top 5 dragon megas since playing CS/HM).

Hisaryumon reminds me of the Utopia Equip Card, "ZW - Tornado Bringer", from Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal! It's a Monster Card, like the other Zexal Weapons, which "ZW" stands for, and, like a lot of the Number Xyz Monsters, can also change form, in this case turning into an actual weapon for the Number 39: Utopia cards! Funnily enough, Torando Bringer not only appears as a Chinese Dragon, jus like Hisaryumon, but also becomes a sword for Utopia while equipped, grantiing him immunity from Targeting Effects! I run a ZW Deck as, when I acquired the then last one, I noticed that they gave the Utopia cards some pretty crazy Effects, such as mutliple attacks, negating cards, negating Monster Effects for the WHOLE Battle Phase, reducing ATK and even card destruction, never a bad thing in any Card Game in my experience! Also, most of them grant extra ATK as well!

I think Ryudamon is very interesting and I like it’s mix of a dragon and a Samurai if it was classed as a Pokemon it whole line would be Dragon/Steel types and can you do Gotsumon next.

Ryudamon's line I actually think is cool. However the only thing I knew was it's onryuken form was tied to Alphamon. Good thing these videos are a thing to watch.

I've had this question in my head for YEARS after watching Digimon Frontier, and being subscribed to this channel because Jessy does amazing work, one of the more reoccurring questions that pop in my head is this: Who is stronger? MetalGarurumon or KendoGarurumon? They both are metallic wolf's that have fairly advanced tech base armor, and sport various attacks of all ranges from close to long range and have some kind of key role in being a well renowned species of Digimon.

Talking about dragons and wargraymon one thing i aways find strange is, graymon trying to turn more powerfull turn himself in a cyborg, metalgreymon, but when he goes mega he boes back about the mechanization, what a mega digivolution of graymon will look like following the mentality of turning into a full cyborg dragon digimon

OK so there might be three potential possibilities or four possibility one they may have been digital lifeforms that thought Digital life form partners for a Proto dragon digital monster or option 2 or possibility 2 they might be him to unknown Digimon‘s that the creators of the franchise may have forgotten sketches of them or just plan to someday implement them in to digimon somehow from we know they might be accumulated essence of two new digital monsters that we haven’t seen before and for all we know it could be a Japanese word in another different language Since the way I mentioned ryu sends the word is usually means a dragon in Japanese they could be either a species of dragon or some sort of a warrior a humanoid dragons for an example in the millennium series of Godzilla/millennium era of Godzilla Mecha Godzilla was so different from the other ones it was given its own nickname kireyur and forgive me the mispronunciation I might’ve missed butchered that accidentally but what is supposed to mean is machine/robot usually a Big one and dragon so whatever the Japanese countries are trying to tell us they might be a form of the Gusta because the Japanese congee‘s might give us a better hint so they had to be some kind of dragon warriors like digital monsters or Dragon Warrior like digital lifeforms of the distant past may be even older before the 10 legendary warriors there could be an intern dedicated backstory behind it and some other Nother other backstory and that would have to be like my possibility three and forgive me if I lost The subject of the possibility 3+/4+ possibilities are theoretically endless here so It’s either digital life forms Digital monsters or some human companions gone through an unknown bio merge meaning humans merge with digital monsters for adoption detention combination of any of the three or whatever else entirely who knows if anything

Now I'm wondering about Digimon that have deeper and stronger roots in Celtic culture, mythology, and history. A lot of people don't realize how deep Halloween's Celtic roots are, especially in the modern era; the holiday that Halloween genuinely originates from, which means the holiday it truly comes from, is, in fact, the Celtic holiday of Samhain (pronounced Sow-Wen or Saw-Wen, I've seen guides both saying that's how saying how the name is pronounced); most people are under the impression, when they are aware of the history of Halloween, that Halloween originates from All Hallows Eve, this is both true and false, but mostly inaccurate. All Hallows Eve was an act by the Catholic church at the time to Christianize Samhain as a way of bringing more Celts over to the faith and make the celebration line up more neatly with the Christian (but predominantly Catholic) belief structure. Ironically, the modern version of Halloween is now much closer to how Samhain was than All Hallows Eve tried to make it at the time. I'll explain a bit. Samhain was/is the Celtic New YYears'celebration; the ancient Celts believed that the boundaries and veils between worlds were at their weakest at the point where one year ended and another began, and for them, this meant it also meant the spirits of the dead could come back to visit for that one night of the year; I would love to see the Digimon franchise play with this concept at some point, we already have the concept of different worlds in the franchise with the different servers of the Digital world being separate from each other and effectively their own versions of Digital World, and we also have the Dark Ocean from Adventure 02 and that crazy world where MaloMyotismon manifested in the final stretch of Adventure 02 where all of the evolutions of the Digidestined were able to manifest and fight alongside each other for the battle with MaloMyotismon, we even saw an episode of Adventure 02 where the kids were actually talking about different worlds and what it could mean if someone were to distort or even destroy the boundaries of those different worlds for some reason. So, in a way, we already have the seeds of that idea in the franchise, but they haven't really been planted, just put on a shelf somewhere and mostly forgotten. But there's even more than that to Samhain. Costumes worn on Halloween night have their roots in the Celtic tradition of dressing up as Faeries, Goblins, and other fey/fair folk and dancing around to distract those creatures from the festivities; the scary aesthetic and practice of wearing a scary mask at this time goes all the way back of wearing scary masks to frighten malicious spirits and fey away; and Trick-or-Treating actually has roots going all the way back to the Celtic tradition of children selling Soul Cakes to homes and businesses, Soul Cakes were these little treats you would leave out by your door for visiting spirits during this time. You can even find recipes for them online nowadays. And, of course, Jack-o-Lanterns, the thing Pumpmon and LordPumpon are based on, have their roots in an old Irish tradition of carving giant Beets and Turnips into lanterns. The practice moved over to gourds and pumpkins, in particular when the practice was brought out of Ireland and to the Americas, mainland Europe, and later the rest of the globe. There's even a story about how the Jack-o-lantern got its name, and it actually involves a character in Irish lore called Nasty Jack. Unlike Pumpmon and LordPumpon, who are mostly playful tricksters, Nasty Jack is a very unsavory figure; he is the kind of person that quickly causes all goodwill towards him to become expended very quickly, mostly because of just how much of an unsympathetic figure he is, he is rude and mean to everyone he interacts with, and was always trying ways to weasel his way out of promises and obligations; the tale of Jack of the Lantern has this aspect of who he is on full display, the story he somehow manges to trick the devil multiple times in a situation where the devil has come to collect Jack's soul, and in the last of these encounters (which is like the 5th or 6th time) he manages to get the devil to promise him that his soul won't go to Hell when he dies; and when Jack did die, the gates of Heaven didn't open for him, and he was kicked out because of just how much of a terrible person he was, then in some version of the story he tries break into Hell and the Devil keeps his promise and chases him out before throwing a glowing coal that is literally from Hell at him, jack finds a massive Beet or Turnip and carves into a lantern and is now a wondering spirit trying to trick others into being his companions as his spirit wanders the Earth because he can't really go to a proper afterlife. Keep in mind that I just gave a heavily abridged version of the story, but more than enough to get the point across. But I guess that does explain some of the more malicious tendencies of Pumpmon and LordPumpmon.

@@chimuoma390 this one is weird because there really isn't any point of contention between the two. Enamorus just simply exists yet at the same time it practically doesn't as it is a forced add on that has little to do the forces of nature and has been conveniently absent up to the present day. Supposedly Enamorus has to with fertility in love, marriage, and offsprings and it attacks with emotions such as stirring up a storm of love and hate that burns, but due to its recent introduction and being a forced inclusion I don't have much to say about it beyond that. Azulongmon can't really do anything against Landorus. Landorus is a fertility god that uses the dispersed energy of storms to enrich the earth. Azulongmon can fire all the lightning he wants, he is just going to get grounded just as much as Tornadus and Thundurus was. Baihumon and Ebonwumon can't really do much against the flying genies whose entire role and purpose is to create storms. That just leaves Zhuqiaomon and it is three against one with the three being able to instantly turn an entire coastline into a solid block of ice. Bluster doesn't help the sovereign here and just what does he hope to do? In the sky he is at the mercy of the two storm makers who is going to drive him back into the earth with raging wind and lightning, and on the ground he is at the mercy of Landorus who is a fertility god. Good luck trying to fight when the very earth and sky is against you. Sure he could try to blow up with that solar flare attack but they are likely to make an even bigger storm out of that or make the land even more fertile. That's just assuming that they don't just pop into the dream world for a few moments which just makes the endeavor a waste of energy. As for the original dragon we don't know anything about it. We don't know what it looked like, what its name was, and what its domain and role was. We can assume that it was incredibly powerful just from the stat total of the incomplete abominations and it might had something to do with physical creation given that Reshiram and Zekrom are masters of the atom and nuclear physics, their connections to the ying and yang school of thought, and heavy alchemical inspirations that Lockstin would love to spend all day talking about, but can't even compare the two when we don't know what one of them is. What we do know is that the original dragon couldn't choose between the two brothers and split. We don't know if it has any relation to crystalized dragon energy or the dragon vein which requires the embodiment of victory and an entire structure to disperse and stabilize it. At the very least you know what Huanglongmon looks like and has some information on the guy. We literally don't know anything about the original dragon. If Nostalgia wishes to analyze these groups then I would certainly suggest teaming up with Lockstin to get as much information as possible and get a picture of what we are dealing with here, but this is just a weird one. Either there is not enough information or what we do have suggests that there wouldn't be a confrontation to begin with.

Perhaps the orbs are the digi cores from the same digimon family? It's not uncommon for digimon of the same lines/stages to befriend one another. So given the size and color of the orbs they could be of digimon from his champion and rookie level

I don't think Yggdrasil is responsible for the creation of those two. While the interface explains a lot about the characteristics of the X-antibody, why would a host computer who can easily mess with, alter, and modify the data that makes up the digital world? As seen with another royal knight it doesn't need an interface to alter a digimon. However humans do and I believe that is whom created Dorumon and Ryudamon. These two are digimon as a digimon is defined by the presence of a digicore surrounded by a wireframe, and they are made out of data on very specific subjects that partain to cultures and archetypes forged by humans. It is likely that these two were created as prototypes for the digimon program during the early stages of the digital world. We know that time exists differently there and that the digital world keeps reformatting itself to accommodate new data coming from our internet so this is not out of the realm of possibility. Furthermore both Dorugoramon and Ouryumon came about through a day dream which is weird because digimon don't have have access to the dream world and Yggdrasil most certainly doesn't if it new it even existed. However humans automatically connect to that place and it is shown quite a few times that dreams are quite potent in the digital world. Granted our mere thoughts and emotions are incredibly powerful there. Given that access to the dream world is required for the megas to come about, a fusion between Dorugoramon and Ouryumon would most likely be a pure dream much like Medievaldukemon and that is why it doesn't yet exist. Ouryumon became Alphamon's axe who is on the faction of royal knights that will turn on Yggdrasil should it start doing something wrong. It is also not a coincidence that Alphamon, Omnimon, and Gallantmon, all whom came about due to heavy human involvement, turned against Yggdrasil in the X-evolution movie. Yggdrasil hates humans for some reason and it is incredibly fitting that the royal knights that were created by humans turned against the computer pretending to be a god. Those two orbs could be two humans souls sticking around after death for the their friend's sake or they could be two friendly A.I. that were modelled after mythological data to help Ryudamon in his growth.
