That is crazy man one of the best uses of looping I've ever seen. I have a question though, so it took about 3 minutes for you to setup all the backing, and while it was a moment of intrigue for the audience I'm just wondering do you do that for every song or do you have more simple rhythm guitar and lead to fill the set?

I have now upgraded to the boss rc505 which allows me to loop faster since you can loop an independent amount of measures per channel. Also, every few songs I play acoustic versions of songs

Martin D. Hey 👋 yes but fortunately there’s a way to adjust the sensitivity of each string in the Roland so it doesn’t register small vibrations but only notes you intended to play

how is the tracking on the synth, I find that it can get off noises with any string buzzing, or resonating neighbor strings, etc. so the action needs to be set high.

Hey Andrea, first of all I want to say you flat out jam my brother, so much that I went and bought myself a gr20 as well, but unlike you, I’m having difficulty with it, no sound coming out except guitar sound when hooked up to a Multiac nylon with 13 pin connector. I have tried to troubleshoot the problem, even have a good Buddy of mine who plays guitar quite a lot and yet neither of us get anything. But when you cycle through the patches from the Godin, it changes on the synth so I know we have some type of connection going. Any ideas that you may throw my way or advice on how to get this to play sound off other instruments besides the guitar? Thanks for your time and I’m I’m not bothering you with silly stuff

Thanks. How weird… have you made sure the synth volume on the guitar is up as well as step on the expression pedal on the Gr 20 and press it so it gives volume as well? Those are the only things I can think of

Have a Roland GI-20 GK midi interface to write to Finale but also have a Jam man looper and a U-PHORIS UMC404 HD a Proteus 2000 sound module and a Line 6 POD XT Live.
