hi, i use the one of the erica drum synth trigger outs as trigger sequencer. later you can see me patching the cv out of the turing machines to the rings frequency input

how are you sidechaining and compressing the mix? if i understand the mixer setup, it doesnt look like you have a sidechain compressor or master compressor and are just using the mixer's softclipping to limit it, is that correct?

i don‘t use any sidechain compression. i don‘t like the sound. all the ducking you hear comes from the crosstalk from the mixer. however, in clubs with limited headroom (db restrictions etc) i take a small mackie mixing desk with integrated DSP with me and use a master compressor and some multiband compression on my stereo out. also i‘ve mastered the youtube videos a bit (2500 compressor, museq, limiter)

Hey, just a thought, are you sending your master output jacks Left and Right from your performance mixer to two mono 2hp filters and then out to interface? I like the idea of having low pass cutoff on the master but was thinking that the main out is stereo from the PM and I think 2hp is mono

yes, the PM outs go into 2 mono 2hp FILT!

Love this series, ty! One question I had is: why so you have two channels on the fx return rather than the Performers’s built in return?

hi! as far as i remember (correct me if i'm wrong!), the AUX returns on the left are mono. I need stereo capabilities for the MicroClouds and the Ping Pong Delay to shine. Also, the built in stereo return on the right is part of the send/return circuit which breaks if you plug something into the return. so it's basically a stereo insert circuit and i can't use it either.

i wouldn‘t have been able to afford it if it wouldn‘t have grown over many years with every new module i bought or built. that being said: it‘s worth around $10k
