Also for the dachshund be careful boo. I had one and they have problems with their back. I came home from work one night and she was paralyzed. I had to put mine down at 6 years old because of it. I’ve been devastated. Don’t let it jump off the bed or anything. It was very painful for me losing her and my vet told me it’s actually really common with the breed 1 in 3 dogs have back problems.

A dachshund? Girl, you mean a weenie dog? I got two, they're the best. Kind of needy. Also have sensitive backs, so we have ramps all over our house because they can't jump off things or they could hurt their backs. I always try to talk people out of getting one because not very many people have the patience it takes or are considerate enough about their backs. But they're great dogs, just be careful about IVDD, and do lots of research before getting one!
