First off, this was a super fascinating video! I really enjoyed hearing your take on why certain Pokemon hold the items they do! Your videos have been great while I'm at work, since most of it is audio, so the few times I do look away from my work I don't feel bad! I'm looking forward to your next video! Secondly, a funny coincidence happened. I was playing Pokemon go while watching this and just as you started talking about the magnet I found a shiny Magnemite! So thanks for helping me get a shiny lol

Real talk, it's comments like these that motivate me further. A lot of time goes into these and of course the views bring in the money BUT these comments give me life. Especially since I listen to people like Wendigoon or Mythical Kitchen all the time while working my actual job, researching for this channel, creating the art for this channel, and sometimes even fall asleep to Markiplier, so this is a genuine honor when anyone says this. As for the Magnemite, LET'S FREAKING GO!!!! Magnemite line is absolutely S tier and I've always named them Maggy/Maggie

Usage of pokemon with the Frisk ability:📉📉📉
@ryakuthearmynekodude2 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t go as far as to say they’re particularly lazy. More like it would be a TON of work to actually animate them in a way that it makes sense for the hundreds of pokemon in the game. There are atleast 50+ held items in the game which they have to animate coherently for atleast 900 pokemon (since theres no national pokedex anymore) imagine a choice specs on a wailord or a mystic water wrapped around it. If the pokemon just stood there holding the item in its paw, hand, whatever the case, they would look dumb. Sure it would be cool if they did it well, but it would be such an undertaking that it would probably be not worth and prefer to use those resources on other things.
@yosh9192Ай бұрын
It’d completely change competitive, for one. Immediately being able to tell if your opponents have choice items, sash, weakness policy, or similar items would completely change the game and probably not in a fun way. Plus Frisk would become a completely pointless ability, and it would make type resist berries go from niche to flat out bad if your opponent can see them and go ‘oh, guess I’ll use a different super effective type then”

Hey man I'm a really big fan. I enjoy your videos but I would like to drop some constructive criticism on this one. I know people won't like this but I hope this finds you well. It's better to have a long list of items categorized and not alphabetized. Even though the list is in alphabetical order the items are very random and hard to find and keep up with. Makes it even harder to keep my concentration and pay attention to what you're saying. A categorized list of items leaves expectations of what you're about to get next. My work is always sloppy when I have things alphabetized instead of in categories. Great video theme
@KrillikVA3 ай бұрын
I think what you say is entirely valid, and it was a very hard decision to make it alphabetized as I felt it made things simpler to some capacity and allows people to follow along if they want to look at Serebii but I get ENTIRELY where you're coming from. I think you will like future videos as I plan to keep things more categorized instead of alphabetized, such as with categorizing the timelines of when all the ancient Pokemon lived for the full history of them! Incredibly valid, and I always appreciate the constructive criticism. Thank you for your comment and for the compliment! I can't do this without my audience and can't get better without input like this!

I'm not Japanese, but due to my exposure through manga, I know that the choice band is based off of the Hachimaki. I believe the choice scarf is also an alternate form of this, but it's tied to the arm instead of worn on the head and used in sports. Could also just be a team armband instead of a good luck charm. I believe the choice specs are just "nerd glasses" as they are used in the same kind of scenes in manga. People studying with the headband and the thick swirly glasses on. I also learned while researching this that they look like that because they're called "bottom of the milk bottle" glasses.

The electralizer is a PSU or... "Power Supply". Elekid holds it and has a plug on its head as it can't store its own energy. A PSU doesn't actually store energy though, so it's probably just a mix of a PSU and a battery as the text says it stores energy. EXP Share is a telepathy headband. It's complete pseudoscience, but that's how it shares XP because it's telepathically sharing what they are experiencing. There's many examples, but check out back to the future with doc brown's mind reading helmet. Macho Brace is actually spring loaded rather than weighted. Very unhealthy irl, but a common trope in anime. The Power tools are the training weights. So, you could imagine a pokemon/person wearing all of the weighted bands and having their arms/legs restricted by the spring loaded braces. Incense... look, you know how it is. You put on some music, light some candles... set the mood man.
