Embarrassing to try and act like he's had some astonishing season. It was his defense that gave up 37 to ku. It was his lack of production against Utah. He was the one throwing tantrums and avoiding tackles on defense at least as early as the Nebraska game. He is the one with 17% missed tackles, hes the one who's faced an average passer rating of 88.5, and has only picked off turnover prone quarterbacks. He's the one who isn't even the least targeted corner on his own team. He's the one who needs a top tier college QB to force feed him the ball. People want to say "jeanty is having his stats padded" man has 275 carries. Do you know how many Barry Sanders had through 11 games? 373. That's being force fed. And let's be real, it isn't just the amount of times you get the ball, it's what you do with it on every down. And jeanty is the one averaging 33% more missed tackles per game than the next man up.

The thing that hurts hunter and jeanty is their strength of schedule. Colorado had an easy road and still lost too many games. Boise st. Managed to win but against inferior competition. Dillon Gabriel the QB for the best and only undefeated team in the country. With odds of +35000 I'm betting on Grabriel 100 times out of 100

The issue with saying could jeanty play defense somewhere he probably could if he trained but then we're still talking about 2 of the most physically demanding positions outside if lineman on both sides of the ball. RB and LB see more contact than the other positions. Wr to CB on the other hand isnt that big of a jump im not saying that its not a hard jump but there is a reason many cbs are old wr who just didnt have the best hands. Its a position thats not so different from what they just played

RB's and QB's are heavily dependent on the offensive line for their stats. Travis is shutting down one side of the field Himself then making one on one plays on the offensive side of the ball. Where's Jeanty on the Defense? This race isn't close now, but throw the ball at or to Travis 35+ times a game. Several players got their teams to the playoffs but aren't worthy of this year's Heisman trophy.

He’s had a couple games that he wasn’t even graded out as the top 10 on his own team. His team has couple losses also and they’re not winning because of him. Ashton is dragging his team to wins and doing something we’ve never seen besides Barry. And the players today are much stronger and smarter than back in the day…. Just like all Olympic sports they get stronger and better over time. Also Barry played against weak competition. In fact 30% of his schedule was against teams with a combined record of one win.
