The Holy Spirit guides you in teaching. It’s not about knowing the Bible inside and out. Strong discernment goes hand in hand with teaching. You knowing right from wrong helps you teach the truth. Going to a Bible school to learn the Bible doesn’t give you a gift of teaching. The Lord gives this to you, not a school. No man can tell you what these gifts are. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you and show you the truth. Anyone can read and study the Bible- but this does not mean that person knows the truth because many people Interpret the Bible differently. This is why everyone needs to lead everyone to the Lord to know what the truth is. So if you really want to know the truth go to Jesus Christ and He will show you.

Lord almighty, I pray and bind myself to be wise to know how to speak truth insofar those I teach will understand and to know how best to promote instruction, while binding to hell all that speak lies and do not promote instruction well, binding myself to be an exhorter to self and others while binding myself to hell every unequal yoke and common share with all that wants to discourage, in accordance with this word and proverbs 4:7, proverbs 16:22-24, romans 12:8, 2 timothy 4:2, 2 chronicles 15:7, acts 11:22-24, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

The gift of teaching also comes with the burden of frustration. Someone who refuses to be taught cannot be taught. A teacher is only as good as their student. If the student wants to be taught it can be successful. If the student refuses to be taught it is a mute point. Teachers must be able to discern those who want to be taught vs. those who do not.

Teaching in a school or other institution, those students have to be there and engaging their minds, attitudes and personalities is frustrating. The burden you feel there is you care for them and want to help them. Teaching in a church or other venue where the students are there voluntarily is different because they want to be there. In either case you must know your audience. each person is responding in their own way and we must find that pathway into their heart. Engage them with relative information. Do not overload them. Attention spans are different.

I have the gift of teaching and why so many Miss uses I don't want to be a teacher anymore I don't want to do this because if you teach you leave people the wrong way and then you get more punishment because you taught it I don't want that to happen and I don't want to be wrong so I'm just going to stay quiet and I'm going to try to figure it out just I don't know learn reply to my own life

And to hear the voice of God so that you would not teach the wrong thing but only what the Holy spirit has confirmed and prompted you to teach. I assure you its better to listen to God and do his will if he wants to use you to teach rather than staying shut. But its wise to say only what God has told you/taught you/ shown you himself.

Larimar Cabrera thank you that's exactly what I needed to hear and I love your Insight to my gift of my spirit by gift of teaching and being a member of the church just not going to squirt it to you or anything like that I like to say I love you first and foremost but yeah it's powerful I am looked it up online with a teacher it's just I don't feel like I can handle their responsibilities it's very tricky but I understand what you're saying and it's like Him confirming what he has already brought to my attention.

I know this is an old posting, but I agree with Larimar Cabrera... If God has called you (John 15) He has anointed you to fulfill this. Fast, Pray, and Study. You can only teach what you have an understanding of.

Yeah, God gave you the gift for a reason he knew you can do it otherwise he would of gave you something well suited for you.
