I guess my "Gift" is Mercy but no one wants me to display it. Strangers, friends, and especially family members dislike my helping and wanting to comfort. Lord, what a mean joke to play on me. The gift of mercy is a great spiritual gift. We need people who comfort others during distress. Not every desires comfort, but many people do. That's when you come in. Mercy isn't simply about comforting others, but also celebrating JOY with others achievements and successes. Mercy is about having compassion, empathy and being a safe person for those who need a ear to listen to or for someone to share their excitement and joy. It's used to help the Body of Christ. Don't be discouraged. Don't give up.
