On the Melodious Fusion that can't be negated ironically enough while it protects from Ash, it will still be negated by Veiler and Imperm on the summon effect. This happens because as CL2 Veiler/Imperm will negate this card's effects along with the protection, then on the resolution of CL1 the trigger effect will also be negated since it's no longer protected.

Veiler/Imperm/Skill Drain negate the faceup card, so every one of its effects (including the protection) Meanwhile a card like Ash Blossom negate the specific activated EFFECT (not card itself) so the protection is still live to prevent that. However, negating the activation of the effect would still bypass the protection, for example Apollousa works since the effect never activated to get said protection

Conversely, pure Melodious is also a fun time. Ostinato - fuse Bacha via sending Refrain & Aria Bacha special summons Shopina Shopina gets back Refrain Normal Summon Refrain and search Couplet Activate Couplet search effect to special summon Aria Link away Shopina and Bacha for Composer Composer effect (first chain Bacha) Special Shopina then Composer effect CL2 to summon Soprano and Elegy Couplet pendulum effect to search Concerto Fuse Soprano and Composer SS Schuberta from extra deck Shopina effect to get back Soprano from grave Activate Concerto fusing Soprano, Shopina and whatever Melodious you have on hand to summon Etoile. Schuberta (banish from grave on opponents turn) Aria/Elegy lock, Refrain and Etoile (non targeting quick effect removal) Just an insane end board and isn’t factoring in the potential back row or other interruptions you may have in your hand. Considering how horrible they were as an archetype, WHAT a turn around in fortunes!

Why not just do the vortex combo? Less bricks in the deck and you can still make an apo. What’s cool about absolute dragon and vortex is it’s still accessible through the voiceless engine with rank 7 access and pendulumgraph being able to summon vortex so all the pieces are already there. The nemeses cards just seem like they’ll brick you super hard.

Voicless Melodious is weak because a Droll kill you, a Nibiru kill you in the summon I:P, the Abystials banish the pendulum cards in GY for the solid combo... Pure Melodius you can do 100 diferents combos for a final board anti-target, anti-destroy, return all the cards and banish with Chuberta

For the VV combo could also Synchro with Trias and Lo into Chaos Angel, use Bacha as the ritual material and bring back the Lo to chainblock the Skull Guardian. You lose a tiny bit of the protection however at this point you'll have already been susceptible to Ash, Belle, Mourner, DD crow and more, plus now you have apollousa, so unless they've been holding a single Imperm for SG or 2x Veiler, you're free to combo off. End board looks identical except you have Chaos Angel instead of Bacha.

anyone who wants to never worry about nib/fire (or w.e attribute you dont like) follow these steps -3 shs wakaushi -1 Soulhorns -1 big benkei -1 Denglong -1 fire yang zing -Cheofeng do regular SHS combo, search the horns, make the denglong, denglong cl1 wak cl2, add fire yangzing to hand, pen summon the fire yangzing and make cheofeng. Nib proof as its summon 5 and theyre locked out from using Light/fire effects if you dont wanna lock fire and rather have an omni negate, add in 1 zefra yang zing, Zefra devine strike, and remove fire yang zing for bian. summon denglong, add zefra to hand, send bian to grave, pend summon the zefra, add trap to hand, make chefeng and now opp is locked from earth/light effects and you have an omni negate facedown to deal with DRNM etc. -doesnt use normal summon -cannot summon more monsters with pen effect or risk of being nibbed. Nib Safe -always locks out light(nib, veiler, gamma, rabbit, lancea) -can lock out fire/earth/dark/wind also(fire lock sounds nice to me. Locks ash blossom, and all fire decks, lock out dark for branded ) -generic -downside youre adding 3-5 bricks(hand dependent as you can change the order of the combo. if you have bian in hand you send the zefra and make cheofeng without the omni negate)

I would never send my Field spell for any Snake-Eye combo unless getting hand trapped. There are ways to get to Omega Dispater without losing ur field..

Consider LEDE has not released yet and the banlist was dropped right before the YCS. It could be people were just too committed to their decks and didn't want to shake things up and did not have time to lab. Not saying that's entirely the case but it's just something to consider

Just as hitting floodgates was good for the health of the game, I also think hitting baronne and savage are good. I do wish they hit snake eyes a bit harder too. Though I will say that now people know what to expect, we probably need more time to adapt to baronne negates in the format, so it's possible snake eyes will change further. At this stage there's still hope the banlist changes the current meta. But long term I think I agree with most of the banlist

I activate transaction rollback to copy welcome labrynth. At resolution. Am I still locked to fiends until the end of the next turn?

@@WShoup9818 While there is a dispute on EEV between OCG (always copying it) and TCG where some judges use the "after this CARD'S activation" to rule that Rollback can't copy it due to the mistranslation, I believe in OCG Welcome Labrynth isn't the same case and doesn't lock you into Fiends. Same thing on Master Duel. I'm 99% sure it doesn't lock you despite the lock being part of the effect because in every case it mentions that card's activation and not effect activation.

You simply need 3 Refrain 1 Couplet 1 Concerto 3 Ostinato 2 Bacha in the Extra With the VV (3 Lo, 3 Saffira, 1 Sauravis, 2 Guardian, 2 Ritual Sauravis, 3 Barrier, 1 Blessing, 2 Prayers, 1 Radiance, 3 Diviner and 1 Trias) and the Melodious Cards you are on 30 Cards and then Play 10 non engine like Handtraps and Boardbreakers

I thought the pure SE combo was wrong. When you brought back jet. I think your suppose to make formula, draw 1, then dis pater. Since you omega a card out of their hand dis pater now protects from nib. Bring back omega, rip another card. Use 2 for IP, then oak send IP for cost for the 2nd flamberge from deck. S/T IP with flamberge. Pass.
