I played this archetype. It was always satisfying OTK’ing someone since my Power Bond Cyber End Dragon deck. I tech’d in Anti-Magic Arrows because I do not want to see a full back row of land mines activating when I’m about to end the game 😂

I like the deck list. Curious on what you would have as a side deck. What's the best way to handle things if you have to go first? Also, have you considered offensive cards just in case an opponent has a strong board like lightning storm or replace one of the hand traps with a kaiju, for example.

This deck is on the same level as flunder. The majority of hands you draw loses to a single ash or Imperm on your normal summon. There's also plenty of disruption opportunities in the battle phase. I think this deck is over hyped. If you're gonna play it you should probably pair it with another engine.

Don’t know if this comment will be seen but durning the first combo how do you special summon fadra after adding it with kaimen, fadra doesn’t special itself like chundra and kaimen can’t use both effects so I’m confused

In the battle phase, Kaimen with add AND special Fadra. Outside of the BP it can only do one effect, but while in the BP, it can do both☕️

Hey! Great video. So what do you special summon with Spheres after it’s been tributed? Fadra can’t revive under Valley.

Depends but it’s usually something like magnamut or paidra for follow up, or druisworm can be annoying.

You can also summon chundra in BP and if a monster battles you can summon paidra to search follow up the quick eff synchro into a lv7

You can summon fadra off of chundra if you need to save chundra in damage step then synch after as well

you might be able to if you don’t play prosperity, but there are gonna be times you can’t kill because you had to break a board and needed it to clean up life points. Definitely worth testing tho!☕️

No it’s not. Melodious trounces the deck due to (a) ability to also play alot of non engine and (b) the new Melodious support literally compounds their superiority in the matchup. The formerly gimmicky Aria/Elegy lock completely shuts down Tenpai and when you factor in the new support like Etoile which is non targeting mass removal on top of Melodious ability to run Honest, their own built in archetype Honest; Score and Herald of Orange Light to easily to counteract Tenpai handtraps, Melodious is just crazy good in this match up. Better players than me will find other ways outside of Melodious to counteract them.

Any group of cards that had such a small engine, can play 20+ handtraps\board breakers, has a better version of misc, and can otk thru prosperity is going to be cancer - regardless if it has a counter. That’s like saying tear wasn’t a problem because it died to shifter. The deck is going to be cancerous to the game in a way we haven’t seen in a long, long while in a way that shows zero skill expression. Thrust into threatening roar counters then. Battle fader. Ghost ogre on the spell. Voiceless shits on the deck. There are counters outside of your favorite deck (assuming here based on how you talked about the deck) but it’s still going to be a problem.

If you just have a 2k monster and tenpai has any of the 1card starters, it wins. Don’t forget fadra protects your monsters from battle as well so you can crash chundra into the monster, at the start of damage step it can special summon fadra, tenpai will take some damage but fadra keeps it from being destroyed, then you can quick effect synchro into the lv 7 that then brings back fadra. Fadra can bring back chundra, blah blah blah. It can continuously climb from there to tens of thousands of damage

You can also use Secret Village of the Spellcasters. Set Rotation it onto their field during battle phase. Should they manage to live through the OTK they are cut off from spells if they dont have a Spellcaster.

set rotation doesn’t activate the field spell, it sets it they would have to activate the village of their own volition in order for village to do anything

@giraffetownfan8810 still doesn't do anything because one they don't need to flip it, and two, if they have a field spell in hand and your opponent already activated theirs then flip it because you'll be able to set your other field spell to get fid of secret village the only reason you you can't use it is if you're opponent left their field spell set but again you wouldn't activate secret village if you don't need to

Your opponent either leaves it set and activates all their spells or if they've got their own field spell then they can just activate secret village, set their field spell, and then flip it up anyway lol. The true best target for set rotation is magical mid breaker field, because it completely locks your opponent out of playing field spells unless they use a card like cosmic or something to get rid of it.
