So I’m a couple years late, but I wanted to clear something up. That story about the man being shot by his wife in his sleep is actually a very watered down version of what actually happened. In reality, he woke up very suddenly in the middle of the night because of an intense pain in his head. Thinking it was just a bad headache, he took some over the counter painkillers and tried to go back to bed. But when the pain still didn’t go away he got up again, this time realizing there was blood on his pillow. Now thoroughly concerned, he woke up his wife and asked her to drive him to the hospital. To make a long story short, the doctors wound up discovering that the “headache” was actually due to a bullet lodged in his brain, and having no idea how it could’ve gotten there, the police were called. The man’s wife seemed horrified at what they had found, because as it turns out she actually slept with a gun under her pillow, so she must’ve somehow accidentally pulled the trigger in her sleep. But when the police pressed her for more details, her story began to unravel. She did actually shoot him in the head as he slept, but she expected him to die. Instead, he woke up, probably almost immediately due to the sound of the gun going off, and having a literal bullet lodged in his head. As the truth came out, the man remembered how his wife hadn’t seemed too concerned when he woke her up and explained what was happening. She took her time getting ready to leave, and drove remarkably slow and careful on the way to the hospital. He guesses she was actually hoping he would die before they got there. I’m sorry if someone else already said this! I just think this is a really interesting story and was a little bothered by how that account portrayed it😂

Yep. Every couch I've ever had was a time machine. I would lie down and turn on the TV. Then when I got off the couch again at least a couple of hours had just disappeared. Sometimes a whole weekend would disappear while on any of those couches. My recliner is also a time machine because the same kind of thing happens when I sit in it. It just doesn't work in reverse, though. 🤔😏
