Notes: Ar-Rabb --------------- One of the most frequenetly mentioned names in the Quran. It is mentioned over 500 times. This can be seen in surah Fatiha first ayah "All praise is to Allah, lord of the worlds". (1:1) We understand Ar-ruboobiya (lordship) from the word Rabb. Everysingle thing you can say about Allah comes under Ar-Ruboobiyah. Tawheed Ar-ruboobiya is defined as: Allah SWT being alone in his actions and attributes. lINGUISTIC MEANING IN THE ARABIC LANGUAGE: 1. The one who owns something 2. The ultimate master 3. The commander 4. The one who takes care and nourishes 5. The one who sustains and provides We are not allowed to use the word Rabb for anyone (except Allah) when it is on its own. But we can use it for other than Allah when we make it posessive for example Lord of the House/Camel/Manner. Using it on its own without restricting it to anything is only for Allah. The reality is everything in this world belongs to Allah, we are only given something temporarily. There is no control that we have over anything. Allah SWT is constatnly engaged in the tarbiya of his slaves. There is a general way Allah SWT sustains his creation: The way we normally live our lives and how we can carry out our daily tasks. There is also a specific tarbiya which is that he has brought you to know Islam and know how to worship him and that we should dedicate our lives completely to him. It is very specific as it has only been given to SOME people. There are 7.5 Billion people in the world and 23% of the world are muslim. (Roughly 1.6 Billion according to online stastics). Out of these how many have been given the ability to actually practice Islam. This again could be be a small amount and from these a few have been given the ability to follow the true path of the sunnah and the salaf. When Allah's lordship is mentioned in the quran it is followed up by worhsipping him SWT.

Lecture notes 🖊️ Ar Rab : The lord Frequently mentioned name in Qur'an more than 500 times. Linguisticly: Robobiya : concept of Lord ship. Having the attributes of Lordship. Talking about Allah from the point of view who Allah is and what Allah does. Things i do... Actions my supplications each and everything is for Allah this is Al Elahiya He swt is rabolAllameen , Allah swt Lordship. Who is Lord: Lord linguisticly refers to 6 meanings, Al Malik ( the owner) We only borrow things for the real owner is the Lord of the Heavens and the earth. As sayyed ( the ultimate master) Absolute obidience. His obidience is unconditional The one who is obeyed, somone you submit to them and you are obedient to them and no one deserves complete obedience except for Allah swt and his messenger saaw. Al muddabir (the one who has control of everything) The ultimate controller. Allah wills for something that happens and when he don't wills it doesn't happen. No one control what he control Al murabi( the one who take care and nourishes him and make him strong) Allah swt in himself is constantly is engage in raising or taking care or teaching his slaves. Trabiya of his slave and his tarbiya are of two types... General way of sustaining his creation Unique kind of tarbiya which Allah swt has given to hid believing servents by making us aware of islam and he brought us to know what it means to worship him to know him to know how to dedicate your life to... Allah swt didn't give this tarbiya to any one but to very little in numbers very minute very little are Muslims and how much are of these Muslims are those who really work for thier hereafter and live a life loving and pleasing to Allah and amoung those how many are theere who truly follow Rasool Allah saaw and his sunnah... Very very very very minute number of people. Hidyah is not cheap... How many were given tough times and how many came to Allah and how many went wrong.... Very less..... So worship Allahs swt.... And stay firm no matter what worship Allah swt and worship him regardless of situation Al Qayyum ( the one who sustains and provide for) The one who Allowed everything to exist. Because he sustains them Al omnem( who blesses or give benefits) What is a blessings... Any thing which is given in addition to that what you deserve. Your job is not a blessing (linguisticly) but having deen in life and practicing Allah swt and remembering him and praying to him is a blessing.... When Allah swt gives you something regardless of you don't deserve. No one can say I've done so good things with my life that I've completed thank for my eye that Allah swt gave me. Never ever one can say that. Allah made you love eman it's not you it's Allah and Allah swt made it beautiful to you , its not you but Allah made you to love it. Praying 5 prayers seems good and talking well and having modesty. Allah made you hate Al kufr disbelief. So you love good and hate bad, so it's not you but it's Allah special blessing upon you The worst punishment of Allah swt to human being is to make them disobeying that they no regret or pain or sadness or grief .. its the biggest punishment... So touba is must after you slip (sin) Word Rab is only Allowed for Allah swt . As for possession we can use like the lord of the house or the lord of this car but not he is the lord. Allah swt is the only Lord SubhanAllah Allah bless people differently because he's al aleem and al hakeem for he don't do things randomly rather he do things with logic and with complete wisdom. If Allah swt has blessed you, its not random... There is wisdom in it . In terms of action that Allah is our Lord. Believing in Allah doesn't make one Muslim. Quraiysh knew Allah is the creator, it suppose to lead you somewhere. All the signs are to lead you to Worship Allah to pray to Allah to call upon Allah . Recognize his attributes, that he has everything and have all attributes... Now don't turn to aany one except for Allah for when you know there's no one in the world to having attributes that Allah has so how can you turn to somone else. JazakAllah khair may Allah forgive and guide us
