In my opinion, this game was a NES masterpiece: awesome soundtrack, great graphics for its time, and a different face for Batman. surrealistic, oniric...i mean, shooting at his foes with no remorse? going berserker in a golden armor? flying across gotham with a rocket attached? whoever has chance to try it, must do it!

The mapper actually chopped the CHR-ROM window into 1K banks, and sprites were animated by swapping banks (and rearranging the OAM as necessary). This fine granularity of the CHR banks also allowed for the parallax effects in the sky.

Good thing somebody from mine & my sister's youth group in our old church was as big of a video game & Batman fan as I was & it was great to see that he was good with this game & he would help me out on some of the harder levels.; His step-dad was one of the youth pastors & I got along with both this kid & his step-dad really easily...
