I love my yz 250x but it will break eventually , always gotta have a backup;)

How many hours did you run the piston on the 250? Mines @ 66 hours, just ttail rides, and im curious how long i should run it and whether I go Vertex cast or wossner forged.

@@dtnz3294 I did mine at 115. The piston seemed all good. I replaced it with a forged piston, think it was a wossner. Make sure you get the right one for your cylinder when you do. The piston that’s in there should have some letters on it

@@torariders313 Sweet, I've got a 2016 with a B cylinder, did you downsize for forged or just match straight for stamped letter sizing.

@@dtnz3294 I actually went up a tiny bit I think. 66.64 or so to 66.65. Very minimal. Although I am no expert and only put 20 hours on it and then the bottom end failed.
