Do you think you could do a Tourettes/tic disorder comp? Yes they set off my tics and no you don’t have to but I enjoy seeing awareness being spread about disabilities that are usually not represented in a non toxic way yk? Love the vids and have a good day/night!

I’ve had this problem for over ten years. Eight years ago it was so bad it happened all day and night. Some times I would hear a voice yelling crystal clear words that made me look around. One thing that triggers it is stress and physical pain something is suffer from and need to take meds for it daily. Some of the other things that I had happen was seeing bright flashes of light and hearing what I describe as the sound of a hammer hitting sheet metal. Back then I had pretty strong pain meds and had a few OBE’s and other stuff like seeing spiritual beings. Today I’m much better although I have constant ringing in the ears that I know is coming from the brain not the ears and EHS is down to 1-2 times a month. It used to be scary and i didn’t want to fall asleep but now I know it’s no big deal and I am learning to control it if it don’t kick in after I fall asleep. I learned that the flashing lights we see is the miss firing brain signals hitting the optic nerve. So when I hear or see a symptom I control how intense it’s going to be it’s actually kinda fun.

Not had it much for a while, but I use to have it almost every day years ago. It sounded like an electrical zapping sound.

Oh my God! I have gotten the "alice in wonderland" thing a couple times in my life, especially if I have a fever it happens more frequently. I HATE the feeling, laying in my bed my blanket suddenly gets huge, and my body feels tiny and I'm usually stuck like that. Somewere between asleep and awake uable to move until it passes. Didn't know there was an actual term for it..

So I have a weird thing I wondered if anyone could relate to. Nomatter who it is, if im sleeping at someone's house or other I can almost sense they are awake or waking up and I wake up too. Could be 3 a.m. and I'll shoot right out of sleep.

I believe its because your brain is more alert when you’re sleeping somewhere other than your own home/bed. Its so that when something potentially dangerous happens you’ll wake up easily

I’m so lonely that nobody understood my paying I told my family my friends how it feels how unpredictable it is and not them understood what I’m saying or say I’m crazy if I like I’m the last person on the earth and everybody else has disappeared this is the loneliest feeling ever. And every day when I’m trying to sleep I have this fear of experiencing that loud explosion noise again it’s anticipation that really drives me crazy and I can’t go to sleep because I’m expecting something bad to happen.

We used to live in a joint family When i was a kid , my dad and 2 uncles would fight at night , which includes physical as well as verbal ... Sometimes even breaking stuff ... My mom and my lil sister used to get so panicked and i used to literally just pee myself because of the horrifying sounds of them and fighting... One day i was sleeping and this exploding head syndrome happened 3 times in a f*** row ... How it felt? Let me explain you... Its nothing like what's in this video.. So i have 1 uncle who was the most dangerous for me , he used to be so much violent he once almost chocked my mom to death when he was drunk... So one night when they were fighting my mom locked me and herself in our room and she was making me sleep.. i slept and then what i experience was that dangerous uncle speaking something very slowly as far as i remember it was like he was counting the numbers very slowly like this 1 , 2 , 3 ... And then slowly he would start screaming it so loud and it went just like that id wake up scared with increased heartbeat This was scary as a kid since I've seen fights and violence my brain decided to show that dangerous uncle as a nice person being calm but then screaming aggressively it happened 3 times and now i am 19 yrs old thankfully the "dangerous" uncle is not scary for me anymore and this exploding head syndrome doesn't happen since the fights are so common for me... 🙂 It almost sounds like you're eardrums gonna explode

I had no idea this was a thing. Recently, when I would try to fall asleep I would hear really loud knocking noise and noise bangs but their not from me or my family or neighbors. And it sounds like it's right next to my ear.

wait wait wait, so when I get really tired, and I start falling asleep, there's this loud crack sound, it can be really shrill and makes me feel strange, once it even sounded like a dog barking. Is that what this is? When I hear it, I'm usually unable to move for a second before I jolt up and try to ''shake it off''

So I don't know for sure if this is ehs or something else but when I was almost asleep I heard screaming so loudly in my head and then I woke up terrified. I tried going back to sleep after that but then I heard "3..2..1..ready" and then an incredibly loud explosion noise that was the most terrifying thing i had ever experienced in my life. And i used to have auditory hallucinations around March 2020 but that wasn't as terrifying as what I've been hearing now. Someone please let me know if it is ehs because I don't want to confuse it with anything else. Ty for listening😭

This happens sometimes to me, I had realized that it's almost always when I sleep facing up, and the base of my head is resting on the pillow... When I want to have this kind of hallucination, I sleep like that on purpose... This never happens when I sleep on my side.

When I am trying to sleep I hear noises that are not real like explosions, a quiet noise I heard a lot that day, thunder, etc and they always make me jump :/. Sometimes I am woken up by popping noises kind of like bubble wrap but 5x louder but i usually fall asleep after and i don't really jump up. I guess i would be to tired to care lol. It doesn't happen every night/morning though. I never see flashes of light either though from what i remember. The thing is its not really like just all at once ( When im trying to sleep). I will be almost sleeping and BOOM i hear it and then it repeats when im just about to fall into sleep, It will not repeat for the whole night though maybe for 30 minutes? When i get woken up by popping noises i only will recall it happening once. This happened more often when i was younger (alot when i was five) but now that im a teen the popping noises in the morning are new. I dont know if this all is EHS or something else. Anyone else have these problems? (Sorry if this made no since im bad at explaining things and im tired)

i wish mine was just any loud sounds. I'm not alone i know but the loud screaming voices always wakes me up at first i was scared but then it sometimes happens when i forget something like when i sleep but my contact lenses are still there or i forgot that I'm boiling food or when i forget i had my candles lit. it's actually helpful for me but i want other noises too not just screaming angry voices 😂
