2:09 as a twin, I told my twin sister I was bi, she said “ok” (that was two years ago) she always tells me, “are you sure you are bisexual?” I say “why” and she replies with “idk you look and act like a lesbian” that’s the best thing to hear because she doesn’t care if I’m not straight. My siblings and mom(kinda) support me, my dad on the other hand, he says he loves me but he doesn’t accept me. It’s better than him hating me tho 🏃‍♀️

Sometimes they might hang with toxic people who might be homophobic as well. The parents don’t always know. I have experienced this *myself* as a genderfluid, gay/lesbian individual. My former boyfriend of 4 years was abusive. He was racist and homophobic. His parents were very supportive, even his sister. His sister confronted to her parents about it and they started scolding the crap out of him.

It’s sad that after all those years they say they don’t accept you, coming out is scary. I came out to my mom as non-binary and she said it was stupid. I’m talking to some teachers at school to find a way to make her accept me. I’m scared for what will happen but I’m sure she won’t leave me.

Me I came out to my mom months ago and I thought she accepted me cause she said she’ll support me and stuff and ofc I was really happy but after that day she then told me to pray to god that he’ll make me straight… it still hurts till this day and then she was like I’ll still change but what if I won’t!? And I don’t think she fully supported me being les so yeah and I don’t have someone to talk to… and it’s really really really hard keeping it to myself cause that word kept me awake every night just to cry the pain out…

I wish I would have come out the normal way... my newly turned 12 year old self decided to post a TikTok where I came out to my grandpa PUBLICLY and of course, friends of my parents saw it and decided to OUT ME to them... my parents later talked to me and were like "you have to be careful on what you post on the internet, we saw what you posted on TikTok and our friends told us. It's okay to be gay, but just don't post it publicly on the internet." I cried that night and I instantly regretted what I had done and I still regret it... how could I be so stupid!??!?! I really just wanna go back in time and come out to them a different way (like sitting them down and telling them myself) :( So basically my coming out story to my parents is basically just me being outed and me being stupid. :)
